Publisher's Summary

Discover 16 effective strategies for dealing with destructive emotions and keeping your anger at bay!

Anger is a completely normal human emotion that everyone experiences. Anger commonly occurs when we deal with unpleasant feelings, when we think we have been mistreated or injured, or when we face obstacles which are keeping us from attaining our personal needs, desires, or goals. When it comes to the actual anger experience, it varies from one individual to another, as everyone deals with anger differently. Anger in normal levels is a common response to irritation, stressful situations, or frustration, but when anger turns into angry outbursts, it can easily impair our thinking and judgment. This is when anger management comes into play, teaching you how to get your anger under control, how to express your anger in a healthy and productive way, and how to live your life to the fullest without letting anger control your emotions and thinking

You will find:

  • How anger is connected with violence and hostility
  • How anger and anxiety are connected
  • What the damages are of unexpressed, hidden anger
  • Anger psychotherapy
  • The nature of anger and issues connected with anger
  • Anger as it relates to physical and mental health risks
  • What causes anger and different anger types
  • How anger affects the brain and body
  • Our physical, physiological, and cognitive responses to anger
  • Strategies and tips on how to keep your anger under control
  • Anger management self-help techniques and strategies
  • And much, much more!

too basic. not suitable for business negotiations.

i already know all from this book from life learnong experience. book os for beginners. in modern life we have unpleasant situations that easily anger us anf depression etc.

Many people are on higher level tjan this book is. and developed highly logical and inteligent negotiation skills to disarm angry people.

if you are business man w 10-20 meetings per day, skip this book. it gives no concrete techniques to handle it. i advise to look into business negitiation books where attitude is focused on success and brain must be 70% focused oh goal, and 10 % to show why current approach is bad and 30% what would be a failure if we proceed this way.

have a list of allies. analze problematic person" anf if hes not too "far" you can team him up, befrend him/her and qin her/him uo understanding that his misdoing eill dill business and at least his comfort.

on the third point should be presented examples from real life: e.g. i wont keep these cars for you because buz ill sell them to lower payer cpz i dont like you: causing damage to his company ((profit loss) and bigger partner loss. some experienced corps monitor pay lots of attention a d require weekly conzribution reports ans seld assessement validatrd by various party.

it tahes team of people to vortext and make everyonre well placed, lots of strategy or firing of needed.

this is a topberg i could have written and i know people in real life who handle this in few minutes.

this book has no value to me.

It made me feel like I am not as angry as others may judge me to be, and that improvement is always possible.

it's decent but not great.

The advice given is relevant, but superficial and can be only an introduction to self-improvement work.

Absolutely essential book to understanding anger.

Absolutely essential book to understanding anger. The book is accurate in Aaron's view of anger, how most people cope, and makes you think about the past in the present, doing a good soul search within yourself, and use techniques to manage your anger, and not manage others for your own self health.
