Publisher's Summary

Anger Management: You are someone who has a problem with anger, or you're just curious, you may be wondering - what is anger management? The phrase is thrown around rather casually, but it is actually a serious therapy that can help people control their intense emotions, particularly anger and rage. Most psychological experts would define anger management as the process of recognizing and controlling your anger. It is not something that is done only once. When you have a problem with anger, you will be required to manage that problem for the rest of your life. If it is left untreated, it can end up causing a long list of social, physical, mental, and emotional problems.

The first part of anger management is identifying the problem you or your loved one may have with anger. Most people get angry from time to time. Anger is a normal and healthy emotion. If someone disappoints you, or you feel you have no control over a terrible situation, or you are taken advantage of, it is very natural to feel angry. Most people are equipped to deal with that anger in ways that are helpful and healthy. People who need anger management have a problem understanding how to respond to their feelings of anger. Instead of dealing with it appropriately, they let it turn into something uncontrollable, often threatening or harming themselves or others.

What you will learn in this book:

  • Anger Management Information.
  • A Broad Look at Anger Management and Techniques.
  • Do You Need an Anger Management Class?

Absolutely a great help to me!

The author Mark Kant spoken intelligently; he has a beautiful combination of no-nonsense ( including swearing) combined with light-hearted humor. If you're hearing this review ( about men's anger and how to deal with it) be honest with yourself, and realize that an audible you can listen to in private is a great stepping stone towards ending your anger and frustration. Absolutely a great help to me!

Learned a lot from this wonderful audible

Hearing this audible. The author experiences and tales... I felt like this guy was spying on me to spoke this audible!, almost everything he went through is the exact same thing I lived; lost of friends, been angry at things or situations 'just because' (traffic jam, slow printer, not enough sugar on my coffee). I really learned a lot from this wonderful audible.

Tremendous!

Beyond Anger shows the angry and miserable man how to change his life and relationships for the better. This audible helped me understand my anger by explaining what the specific symptoms of chronic anger are and by showing how my anger negatively affected family, friends, and coworkers. Tremendous!

it was an educational experience

This audible will hopefully aid a friend in his awareness of his problem and provide a way out of his personal difficulties. For me, it was an educational experience to focus my personal awareness on an issue for which I had a lack of understanding. It has proven beneficial for me and I can recommend it to others.

Exalted!

All of us feel anger at some point in our lives; but I have a very dear friend that has significant issues with anger to the point of putting holes in walls, doors, and a painting hanging on a wall. Anger and frustration that lead to his incarceration on charges of assault. I mistakenly thought it was schizophrenia, but it was not and has been professionally diagnosed as "Anger Management Issues". In hearing this audible online, I have come across examples that have been identical to his experiences. The author spokes both from personal experience and as a professional counselor. Exalted!

Great Tool For Angry Man

I learned very maladaptive anger responses from an alcoholic father and grandfather. Both were verbally abusive. And I am an excellent learner. I finally decided to stop trashing my relationships - which in the end are the only things of the real value we have in this world. This audible made me see that truth in a visceral manner.
