Publisher's Summary

You are someone who has a problem with anger, or you're just curious, you may be wondering - what is anger management? The phrase is thrown around rather casually, but it is actually a serious therapy that can help people control their intense emotions, particularly anger and rage. Most psychological experts would define anger management as the process of recognizing and controlling your anger. It is not something that is done only once. When you have a problem with anger, you will be required to manage that problem for the rest of your life. If it is left untreated, it can end up causing a long list of social, physical, mental, and emotional problems. The first part of anger management is identifying the problem you or your loved one may have with anger. Most people get angry from time to time; anger is a normal and healthy emotion. If someone disappoints you, or you feel you have no control over a terrible situation or you are taken advantage of, it is very natural to feel angry. Most people are equipped to deal with that anger in ways that are helpful and healthy. People who need anger management have a problem understanding how to respond to their feelings of anger. Instead of dealing with it appropriately, they let it turn into something uncontrollable, often threatening, or harming themselves or others.

Narration is bad. Very bad.

If you don’t have a problem understanding someone with an accent, you may be fine with this book. Secondly, she narrates with a rushed style and cadence. I had to return the book and get a credit for it.

Excellent book

This is an excellent book that provides insight into the emotion all of us experience – anger. It views anger from many different ways and helps us to understand that this emotion given to us by God is normal;

I prefer this Audible

This is a very good book and listen book is very thorough, as always. It made me evaluate a lot more the triggers for my anger that I'm experiencing right now. The only thing I wish it would have done is gone more in depth in ways to get help for dealing with anger and actual Christian organizations that can help with mitigating long-term anger.

I'm impressed!

This book is one of the best books I’ve listened to. It is concise and easy to listen, yet it is filled with nuggets of applicable wisdom. We did a book study of the book in our life group. It is perfect for younger people all the way up to older individuals. Highly recommended!

Prescribed!

Very practical info that most of us know but often fail to practice. Learn about definitive and distorted anger. Then learn to deal with it. Helpful in marriage, family and professional life.

This book has been great. Originally bought this book for my husband to help understand why he is so angry all the time, but have also learned there are things I need to work on as I am the type to hold everything in and then either blow up or resent people for things. Working on my own issues now. Thanks would definitely recommend this one.

The narrators pronunciation was difficult to listen to

I couldn’t get on with the narrator and for a book that is about anger management it did wonders to irritate and frustrate me

Personal opinion can’t rate content as couldn’t get pasted the voice

I'm satisfied!

After listening this book I can see how I as a father have dealt with my sons anger wrong. I believe that he is a great Son and sometimes feels he is wrong. Yet in the past I have just blown him off because of how he reacted to his anger. Now we are going to work on that.
