Es una novela de fantasia
Si lo tomas como una novela histórica desearas arrancarte el cabello de la rabia y como obra literaria es... Inconsistente.
Desde un avión que vuela a Mach 15, pasando por Bernini Iluminati, inconsistencias históricas a más no poder, errores de lógica como que en cinco siglos a ningún acedemico inglés se le ocurriera leer unos bordes de un panfleto o el como se mezclan temas como el satanismo con los Iluminati como si se tratarán de temáticas parecidas.
Lo único bueno de la novela fue Ventresca, y aún con todo resulta ilógico su razonamiento de "Ciencia mala, religión buena" debate que no existe porque los más grandes científicos fueron durante décadas monjes católicos y protestantes.
El tropo de la mujer objeto y un bochornoso final son las huellas de esta novela. Una lástima porque la idea es realmente buena.
