Publisher's summary

A tree’s branches cannot reach Heaven unless its roots also touch Hell....

The Four Horsemen are hunting the most deadly and elusive of fugitives - the White Rose.

Despite being wanted and on the run, Callie has no intention of hiding from the angelic fallout that now plagues Kansas City. Never. Master Dracula will stand as a nightmarish specter against the forces of Heaven, Hell, the nephilim, and the Vatican Conclave.

But nothing is as simple as it seems in this war.

Because betrayal hides behind every ally’s smile, and compassion stands behind every execution. Virtue and compassion, monsters and sheep, victors and victims - all two sides of the same coin. As they say, it is a mother bear’s compassion that gets you eaten.

Callie must cross lines she never wanted to cross, and heed the darkest whispers in her mind if she wants to survive what is to come. If she wants her people to survive what is to come. She must evolve and adapt into something darker, something scarier, something nobly cruel.

A symbol to be revered with fearful adoration.

The Horsewoman of Despair is about to flick the first domino of the Omega War.

Thunder and Terror will herald the End, and a true monster will wield the infamous fiery blades with a smile of silver fangs and a pair of glowing white eyes.

Some monsters are born....

Others are made.

Non Serviam is the battlecry of the damned…and the exalted.

If you like Jim Butcher, Kevin Hearne, Steve McHugh, Michael Anderle, Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs, Shannon Mayer, or K.F. Breene, you won't be able to put down the worldwide bestselling Feathers and Fire Series, or anything else in the Temple Verse.

“Shayne Silvers, Jim Butcher, and Kevin Hearne are easily my favorite Urban Fantasy Authors. In that order.” (Michael Anderle, Amazon Top 25 Best-Selling Author)

Read them all .....

So I have been with Callie since book 1. And the flow of the story never disappoints. In all actuality she was my first dip into the Templeverse; which has lead me down several different paths of complex characters who I have whole heartedly fell in love with. Such stories of love loss magic and adventure. I read all of them in tanget which gives me the scope of the deeper storyline and the fact that each person devlops continually give such a richness and himanity and humilty... if you love binge watching series because you can't let go of the story and characters read the Templeverse series you will. ot be dissatisfied.

Incredible Story

Love the Temple-verse series but this book was so short. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Very Tense

I wish Shayne Silvers would write faster! He has introduced many changes in this book and now I have to wait.

Bad Review

Sadly this series has lost its creative flair. I think there are too many threads trying to stay connected. The Temple series is still entertaining and well written. So is the Devil series. But this one and Phantom Queen are feeling forced. Shayne Silvers is one of my favorite authors, so it hurts me to give this review. Maybe just get back to the Templeverse, because your writing is still spot on with Nate.

Not Fullfilling

This seemed like a filler book before the grand finale. The ending was abrupt. and I was left thinking "where's the rest of the book." The narration was great.
