Publisher's Summary

They don't call him Lucky Les for nothing. A ticket in a raffle and Norton was off to the US of A, where it turned out hot, red hot, and it wasn't just the weather. Night club brawls, mafia hitmen, and too many girls called Lori, all in a sea of margaritas. Even for Les Norton, it was just too hot to handle. So it was off to the Caribbean, where Millwood Downie - schoolteacher, historian, and would-be stand-up comic - helps Les trace his family tree and possibly uncover the biggest earn ever.

Listening to the makes me feel good

Love this author and narrator. Just a romping good story. It is very funny in an unique Australian way. I am not sure that non Australians will understand the book

Too damn long

I usually like the Les Norton books but this one just waffled on too much. The narrator lost interest at times. The story could have been written and told in half the time - far to much padding Mr Barret.

I guess we all have a bad one occassionally and this is the Les Norton bad one. Recommend any of Les' other adventures though.

The worst book in the series? Hope not!

I’ve absolutely loved every book in the series up to now! This one is terrible, story is boring and not funny. Also inappropriate jokes and attitude towards death by suicide. I’m not a prude but this was bad! Don’t waste ur time. I’ll give book 8 a read and if no better going to find something else to LOL to.
