Nice

I enjoyed this book. It's interesting and provides a nice introduction to ancient history, especially for those with little background in the subject.

All in all a good book

it was a very good book, provided some great information, introduced some good resources, and gave a very good perspective of his research and experiences. I would recommend this book to anyone starting their journey to explore living off the grid.

Great Ancient History

Although this book covers an amazing span of time, it doesn't feel disjointed as so many world or ancient history books do. It was also refreshing to see an actual.

I'm amazed

As many people have already said, this is a great book. The writing breaths life to the history by mixing just the right amount of facts with the epic stories and legends.

I would modify my review to 5 stars

I haven’t read much of Roman history and I learned how Rome got its name, how it was built and how it grew from this book; but what truly did interest me is the story about Rome’s political development.
