The quality of this book is much better than other books. Everything was impressive . The narrator has done a great job, I want to keep this book in the first place in the preferred list,

Insightful and full of knowledge!

Learnt a lot about how amazing your body is, how it works and the importance and many ways of looking after your body to help you to be healthy and happy. Easy to understand and follow.

Worst pronunciation of anatomy

It’s one thing to have an anatomy book available for you to review and reinforce your learning in an audio format

It is another thing entirely to be so rude as to hire someone that has no clue about anatomical structures and the human body to record the audio format of your book in what sounds like an empty closet.

I paid $13 for this audio file and it is the closest thing to torture that I have ever encountered on audible in over 10 years

I am so happy that a friend of mine recommended this audiobook because my son loves it very much. he can now practice medical terms by his own using this audiobook.

Difficult narration

I'm sure this book has great info, but there is NO way I can listen to the narrator and stay focused. Sounds like I'm listening to a children's story hour.

Not College Level

The person reading the text should learn how to properly pronounce the terminology. Text falls short of college level. The level of difficulty is more like high school. College level would include more chemistry and physics to integrate the fundamental concepts of human physiology.

Entertained learning

This is not dry lecture stuff. Michael Van Sluyters explains anatomy and does so at a scholar level for those relatively new to anatomy, but what makes it both fun to listen to and easy to remember is his intertwining of development and alternative anecdotes (e.g. did you know snakes 'pop out' their larynx so they can breath whilst slowly swallowing their prey?).

This is a very nice audiobook and very helpful and easy to understand at all levels

Narration NOT good

The narrator, although very versed in punctuation, was very slow in her narration which made it very hard to listen to. Tried to change the speed, which helped. Within 5 minutes I was looking to see if I could return it for an exchange.
