Full of Grace

This Came at Exactly the Right Time

I have been a great fan of John O’Donohue, and I had a feeling I needed this book. My husband has esophageal cancer, and has had other health issues for two years. I have never experienced anything like what we are going through and this book was like a balm. His pure, gentle wisdom has given me so much and although I listened to the audio book, I have ordered the hardback and know I will wear it out, referring to it often. The narration was excellent and Pat’s voice was like a lullaby for me. Thank you - this will be my bible.

Beautiful read

This was a beautiful book full of wisdom. The poetry is deeply spiritual. This is my first book by the author, but will definitely will not be my last.

Celtic Spirituality has much to offer

The is a beautiful and pastorally helpful book. As a confessionally, orthodox, Presbyterian, my reading posture was not to look for confessional errors but pastoral blessings and personal spiritual, emotion, and relational formation. This work delivered! Most helpful were the insights on turning towards and anxiety and sorrow as a means of integrating the self. “Bringing a compassionate mindfulness to your mistakes and wounds in the act of integration.” Those looking for a soul-caring guide through living a life that values wholeness over success will find “Annam Cara” a worthy conversation partner.
