As she meddles in the hunt for her father’s killer, Ethan worries for her safety as her efforts to find the killer bring her closer to danger. Can he protect her from the traitor? For that matter, can he protect his heart from succumbing to her charms?

Enjoyed the intrigue
Story was very good. After the introduction stated it was AI read I almost didn’t listen but wanted the story from the storyline. The AI was horrible I don’t think the audible books are ready for AI. So many mis-spoken words it was frustrating at times to continue but still enjoyed the story and characters

The poor AI reading
The AI reading had inflection but NO emotion. How can you read a love story with a ordered cadence? I will never listen to another AI spoken book.
