Eye Opener

This book is a must-read for any person searching for insight into mental illness. Mental illness doesn't always look like the homeless person or the crazy family member who sits in the corner and talks to themselves. This book shows how insidious mental illness can be. Thank you for opening my eyes and for sharing your story.

Helped me relate and empathize

Mrs. Wasden's journey was so well documented in this book. I really appreciated her sharing the experiences throughout her life, from the tragedy of losing her father to the emotional ups and downs she carried as an adult, as a wife and mother. Her book really helped me to empathize with sufferers of bipolar disorder and also their close supporters. Thank you for being so open and sharing your story.
