Now Kristine Carlson has created an incredibly moving book in memory of her beloved husband, including Richard's love letter to Kristine on their 18th wedding anniversary. The letter answers the questions, "If you had one hour to live and could make just one phone call, who would it be to, what would you say, and why are you waiting?" I bought a hard copy after listening to the sample and before getting very far into the audiobook!

I wish I could hear it read by Kristine, too. I just loved it. Cried much and resonated with just about every moment of it. I am so thankful Richard wrote the original letter and that Kristine choose to share it and add what she did. Plus there's an interview with her after the book!

Thought Provoking & Profound

This book reminds and realigns us of what is most important in this ratrace called life. The book helps us to look deep inside our soul and be okay with life's vulnerabilities, as it is these vulnerabilties that link us to the life of love and fulfillment that we so often overlook. This story and message are both thought provoking and profound.

I don't know what I expected but this book, unfortunately, is full of tired cliches. The gist: don't sweat the small stuff and love the one your with.
