Fun story, not sure about the narrator
I enjoyed this story and I think the narrator, for the most part, was good. But there was something in the way she voiced the men in this audiobook. Not one of the voices was appealing. And it was somewhat shocking who the Hero ended up being, because of the way she did his voice. He sounded like a cad throughout the book. Still, the story was good.

A Standout Regency Romance
Beautiful and intelligently written narrative reminiscent of a Jane Austen novel, as opposed to a standard regency romance with the same trite phrases repeated again and again. Robust characters, including a strong female lead, causing the reader to cheer her on at every page turn. A beautiful love story with intrigue, humor, and charm. I look forward to reading more by Alene Wecker.
