Wow!!! These were 3 beautiful books in the Aspen Cove Series.
One Hundred Reasons follows Sage and Cannon. Sage comes to town because she in inherited a B&B from her former patient. Cannon moved back to town to take care of family business and his dad after his mom passed. The way these two started and how they ended up.., it stole my heart.

Talking about hearts… leads us to Book 2

One Hundred Heartbeats
Follows Katie and Bowie.
Katie comes to town because she inherited the bakery from said patient in book 1. But she is keep a health secret from everyone in town.
Bowie(Cannon’s brother) is medically released from the military. Bowie hasn’t been home since his girlfriend died in the same crash that killed his mom.
Sparks fly fast with these two.
I don’t want to spoil anything you just have to read it to see how beautiful it is, and what secret she had, and the revelations that came.

Book 3
One Hundred Wishes
Follows Samantha aka Indigo and pop star and Dalton a ex con cook.
Yes you heard me correctly, Dalton had to do time for one 2 second action when he was defending a woman.
Samantha use to visit Aspen cove when she was little, and she came back to get away from the pop star life for just a little while.
Dalton is so kind and sweet, and that start off quickly as well.

All these books were excellent. I enjoyed the audio arc.

Beautiful Stories

I really enjoyed this box set of small town love and the characters who band together to support one another. It was beautifully delivered by the arrative talents of Logan McAllister.

You'll love this collection!

I couldn’t stop listening to this collection, and it took me over twenty hours to do so! This is three books in one, so very much worth a credit in my opinion. Besides the value of so many hours of listening, I love that I was introduced to a set of characters that I can follow for many books to come. I’d definitely recommend reading them in order so you can understand the back stories. It’s probably not necessary, but I don’t like it when I can tell there are details I should know, but again, maybe that’s just me!
As a general synopsis, each book focuses on one couple. So far, one character is brought to town due to the kindness of an elderly lady whom we read a good bit about, but never actually meet. She leaves little pink letters that lead people to Aspen Cove to find happiness, which in turn helps save the town from dying out as so many small towns do.
The first book, One Hundred Reasons, is about Sage, the nurse that takes care of Bea before she passed (the elderly woman mentioned above). She comes to town to take over Bea’s Bed and Breakfast and falls in love with Cannon (who has multiple family issues of his own to deal with). I love the theme of second chances, redemption, family values, and true love in this book. I need to be as open hearted and forgiving as Sage is!
The second book, One Hundred Heartbeats, is truly near and dear to my heart (no pun intended). This story is about Katie who has had a heart transplant and moved to Aspen Cove to take over Bea’s bakery where she too finds true love with Bowie. There’s a plot twist here and I won’t spoil it for you, but suffice it to say I was blown away. My niece has had 3 heart transplants and I can tell you that Mrs. Collins perfectly captured how Katie’s parents react to her moving far away from them. I made my sister read this book 😊
Finally, the third book, One Hundred Wishes, is about a former resident named Samantha who returns to Aspen Cove where she once lived years ago. She hopes to take a much-needed break from her famous singing career until she is scheduled to go back onstage in a short period of time. She falls in love with Dalton, who had served in prison on murder charges incurred when he saved a woman from an attack. I love how Mrs. Collins showed how hard life is for Dalton and yet how positive he stays even though he suffered such trials and tribulations due to no fault of his own. There was a good bit of suspense at the end of the book to keep me on the edge of my seat, but it was handled in such a way that we know at the that just desserts were eventually served, and everyone gets their HEA.
I would encourage you to give this series a try as you will fall in love with the town and characters. I know I just purchased the second collection which includes books 4-6 and hope that the other books are put into collections as well!

Loved Every Word

I really enjoyed all three books. Each one better than the previous one. I hated each one to end; but quickly got excited about the next! So so good.

Excellent Listening

The town of Aspen Cove is a friendly place where a stranger is only a friend you haven't met yet. This collection is the first three books of the series. I love this series. The books are well written. The narration is clear and easy to understand. I recommend this recording.

The town of Aspen Cove, Colorado and it’s unique and fascinating characters comes to life one couple at a time as Kelly Collins builds a world where people care for each other and continue to choose love. Beautifully written love stories provide action, drama, angst, kindness, and heartfelt caring. Narrator Logan McAllister does a fantastic job of adding a new dimension to the stories with his voice and the emotion and personality he deftly portrays for each character. Step into the world of Aspen Cove…and stay a while!

A collection full of love and new beginnings

These three books introduce you to a small town in Colorado called Aspen Cove.
Needing to breathe new life into the tired old town, a very special woman on her deathbed sets about doing so in her own quirky way. Altering many lives in the process.
I loved all three of these stories.
What I enjoyed most was in each book you became more involved with many of the Aspen Cove residents, following along with the their journeys in each story that I read.
An audiobook definitely worth listening along to and a series that I want to continue with. Enjoyed the narration.

Book 1 - One Hundred Reasons
Taking chances
Introduces us to Sage and Cannon.
Cannon not liking change and unhappy with his lot in life after a family tragedy many years ago, had him chucking in his career and bringing him back to Aspen Cove to deal with the fallout.
A nurse in the geriatric ward, Sage is too involved with her patients and each passing of the elderly really affects her.
She grows close to Bea Bennett from Aspen Cove and after her passing Sage is devastated.
Being gifted a Bed and Breakfast from Bea, Sage heads to Aspen Cove to investigate and decide what to do with her life.
Cannon and Sage’s first few meetings are far from ideal but over time their attraction is undeniable.
A lovely story introducing you to the town residents and how a special ladies actions, on her deathbed once again breathes life into a tired old town.

Book 2 - One Hundred Heartbeats
Live in the moment
Introduces us to Katie and Bowie.
Bowie after losing his fiancé and mum tragically a decade ago he fled Aspen Cove, not wanting to return. Now a decorated service man, an injury sees him coming home to the Cove to help at his fathers bait and tackle shop.
Katie, being gifted a bakery by Bea, flees Texas and comes to Aspen Cove and starts a new life.
Due to being very sick growing up Katie has a bucket list she is getting through which Bowie finds he wants to help her complete.
I enjoyed how their relationship evolved and the kind hearted little things Katie did to make the town a happier place to be.
Once the mystery of why she was given the bakery unfolded Katie fears that she may lose Bowie.
Looking forward to the next in series.

Book 3 - One Hundred Wishes
Seeing the real you
Introduces us to Samantha and Dalton.
Samantha White, famous blue haired Pop star called Indigo.
Taken advantage of and signing a 10 year contract when she was young and naive her abusive Manager has worked her to near exhaustion. Needing a break and so close to the end of her contract she escapes and flees to her childhood home town, Aspen Cove to hide away from the world.
Dalton Black. Ex Con and now a Chef went to jail for 6 years after his actions of trying to defend a woman went badly wrong.
Sparks fly between the pair and they become close.
With both their secrets coming to light and danger coming to the Cove, will their relationship survive?
Another great story of two peoples struggles in life to be their own person, one learning to live with the stigma that may stay with you forever.

Logan McAllister did a wonderful job narrating these 3 books by Kelly Collins. I was surprised at the way he gave each character their own voice. I broke my review down by the couples these 3 books are about.

Sage & Cannon

Sage comes to Aspen Cove because a sweet elderly lady named Mrs. Bee gave her a bread & breakfast when she past. At first, she doesn’t like this small town or the handsome man, Cannon, who wasn’t welcoming at first. However, turns out Sage needs Aspen Cove & Cannon as much as they need her. This book dealt with some hard issues. It made me cry & laugh.



Katie & Bowie

Katie came to Aspen Cove because she wanted independence & Mrs. Bee’s gift of a bakery when she past made this possible. Katie’s got an outgoing personality that shines throughout this story. Bowie comes home after a decade of running into danger & away from memories of his loses. When he meets Katie, he thinks it will be just a little fling. Too his surprise her bright personality manages to capture his heart. In the end, they both share their secrets, pain, & love. This story is full of surprises of both kind. It was a joy to listen too.



Samantha & Dalton

This story deals with past trauma of childhood abuse & a form of adult abuse. I like the story, but think a little more research on this part was needed. Samantha is a pop star in need of a break. She comes to Aspen Cove for this as she once lived here. Things have changed a bit of course. People have passed, moved, business closed, & her preteen crush is now a hot looking grown man with a secret. Her first night doesn’t go as planned & her neighbor accuses her of being an arson. Once the sheriff intervenes, things get straighten out & she soon comes to understand that her neighbor is actual her old crush, Dalton, all grown up. They quickly become a thing. Dalton never expected Samantha to stay or to fall in love, so telling her he was a convicted felon & why wasn’t in the cards. Then Samantha’s vacay is blown due to a fanatic fan & real life comes to call as both their secrets are out. The true adventure to love & trust begins. This one is a bit of a roller coaster. It has lows & highs, but ultimately ends on a beautiful note.
