AI narration needs improvement

Thoroughly covered his life with emphasis on the Air Force days and climbing the ladder of American Airlines career. Ample story of his personal life (two marriages) and side endeavors like getting a PhD in English from TCU.

This was the first AI narrated book I’ve ever listened to. Someone didn’t bother to correct AI narration goofs. For example, I knew it was going to be a wild pronunciation ride when the book’s iSBN numbers were read as billions, millions, etc. The types of aircraft were oddly pronounced, including saying things like “Boeing 767 minus 300”, instead of “Boeing 767 dash 300.” Seems like those would have been easy thing to train the AI to say correctly.

Awesome story!

An incredible story about a man in his dreams! Flying is an amazing talent and to do it on your terms is even better. Only thing I don’t like is the virtual voice because half the time they mispronounce words or take things a little bit out of context.

Fast, smooth chapter transitions. Story is relatable to student and professional pilots. Enjoyed it thru out

as pilot listening a humble and so real human talk about as a privileged!

Nothing new here. Waste of time.

Don’t bother. Won’t tell you much about flying. Ego trip author. And not very smart.
