This debut shouldn't be missed !!!!
This debut novel by J. R. Backlund reads like it was written by a well seasoned author. This is a really good story with fleshed out believable characters and a plausible storyline.
If you read the publisher's summary you've probably thought it might not sound like much. I really can't get any more into the plot with out giving away too much but... The summary doesn't go into how well told this procedural is. Or how well written. Or the interesting turns and red herrings. And finally in the end the motive and perpetrator come as a complete surprise.
Lesa Lockford does a great job narrating.
This book has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

Another find by Shelley!
As usual Audible listener Shelleys review of AMONG THE DEAD led me to a 5 star suspense novel from an author I had never heard of. If you like the mystery/suspense genre she is the person to follow. While there be sure to give her reviews helpful votes.
