What would God say through a prophet today? In American Prophet, Peter has a dream revealing the outcome of the Presidential election and feels compelled to share it with whomever will listen. As dreams of major events keep coming – and keep coming true – Peter soon gains notoriety and is heralded as a modern-day prophet.

Along with the hype and adulation come the naysayers, including his chief critic, the US President. Conspiracy theories and violent threats force Peter to go on the run, driving him deeper into the heart of a divided nation. Through it all, he strives to remain true to his calling...wherever it takes him.

Totally deceiving tiltle and book. Writes like a political hack job from CNN angry about his political opinions not going his way. I have never given a negative review, just assuming that if I didn't like it, it just wasn't my "cup of tea". This however was just an author's a poorly disguised political tantrum to justify his own ridiculous political views. A complete waste of time.
What's even more deceiving is that he uses a silhouette of what looks like Joseph Smith, (lds founder) and he has a name of an original follower of Joseph Smith. (I just happen to be related to). I can only imagine that he was trying to get lds followers to buy his book. Book was a ridiculous liberal hack job that the author couldn't even come with unique ideas, so he took current events and added fictional items to make him sound credible. Really sad.

The worst 😫. Have never given a negative review until now ever, but this deserves a -63!
