After listening to this book, it changed a lot in me in the way how I think and unfortunately that genocide continues against different races 

One of the most important books

This book should be read by every high school student to realize the evils of group think, racism, ancient ideologies, white washing of history and most importantly the banality of evil.

UNRELENTING AND UNFLINCHING

If Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee was an indictment of the American government and settlers to the slaughter and capture of native N. American peoples, American Holocaust paints an even more sinister, far deadlier picture of brutal genocide perpetrated by wealth hungry Spain. This is not a text for the meek..describing all manners of cruel punishments, death and disease brought to the Americas by European civilized ancestors accounting for a toll that makes Nazi death camps seem quaint and forgiving.

This book takes what is glossed over in most history classes focusing on the almost total change in what we call the americas in four hundred years from what it had been for thousands of years. 80 to 100 million indigenous settled folks were reduced to a few million. Many of those left were put to slavery.

important book that had to be written

we are currently in denial about the issue of race in this country but when we are ready to confront the issue as we cannot move forward without doing that, information in this book will offer a sobering record of our history.

The most comprehensive true history of all the Americas

Amazing account of the true despicable history of the brutal colonization aka genocide of the 100 million native people who inhabited The Americas for thousands of years before the barbaric Europeans set foot and ‘discovered’ these sacred lands. I am appalled and embarrassed firstly at this true history and secondly at the fact that it was erased from history book and not taught in schools. I hope that this will all change soon and the true history will be taught in all schools so that the gruesome truth of how this continent was born will be known to all.

A must read for anyone seeking true history

This book is well researched, I learned so much truth behind the history of America & how many lies we believe.
It's an uncomfortable read, but the truth will set you free to make better decisions politically and hopefully change the way you think about the world and how we handle people of color. This is the must read for people of European descent and white. Also a must read for people of color. I'm am white, but now I know things that were hidden from me. I spent allot of time soul searching & cried many times. But I now have a intense desire to learn true history.

America needs to wake up and learn about this land and the Noble people who were her for thousands of years before explorers ever set foot on it's sacred soil.

Also not only is North American covered, but other lands where it's Native people's were destroyed.

Also the narrator is great. Highly recommend this book!!!

If you breathe air you need to read this. Words like genocide and Holocaust are not typically associated with American history, this book tells a different story.
