It's like a refreshed version of Howard Zinn's A People's History. The focus is on America, and Americans so it's not exhaustive, but I really enjoy the lack of whitewashing the gritty side of our history.

During a long rainy car ride home, after a long flight I’m sure my teens just wanted to listen to their music and phase out. But instead I put on the final episode of the Cold War. Not one complaint to shut off ‘Moms show’. To the contrary - I started getting questions. Well done - and I appreciate the nod to other podcasts, interviews with the writers, and the rich content and storytelling.

My teenagers didn’t ask me to shut it off
