Publisher's summary

Although fictional, the characters in this story discuss many important events and practices occurring in the lives of every American, and many citizens throughout the world. The strong movement by leaders of many countries to establish what they term ‘a new world order’ is a hidden danger many citizens do not recognize. That idea concerns ‘globalism,’ where citizens of all countries are ruled as if they were citizens of only one universal country. How are we almost there, and what are the dangers of globalism? Our national resolve has been attacked, and influenced to accept globalism in three major areas: education, religion, and free speech. First is education. National education policies now promote a standard student rather than a successful student. Second, religion must be destroyed or diminished to allow world compatibility. Third, every free citizen must guard every word he or she says, or be subjected to criticism and threat by our government. What are the dangers of globalism? The dangers are many, but two dangers expose their ugly faces in the forefront. They are authoritarianism from the elite, and mediocrity from the masses. Why is a strong, independent, and separate America necessary? We must continue to be a beacon for the world. Without the example we set for every nation and every world citizen, those citizens will not be shown the vision of what can be if they strive for success. Progress and success are not free and random gifts. This novel answers the question: If America is ever defeated, how could it happen? If it were to happen, it would require conspiracy and treason from our highest level of government. It would begin with a federal constabulary, and supported by disregard for our Second Amendment. In this story, Vision is the new federal constabulary force established by U.S. President Arabar when funding is not available for states and municipalities to fund their own police and security forces. This major funding crisis results from the continuing rise in oil prices. Oil prices are controlled by an Islamic king, King Rayeed, determined to execute a successful jihad in America. King Rayeed must destroy America’s strength before he can attack his final target, Israel. President Arabar, conspiring with King Rayeed, refuses to use American resources to avert that crisis. Pretending to increase development of ethanol to counter that crisis, Arabar creates a food shortage crisis that requires more dependence on government; consequently more government control, more Vision troops, and more disregard for our Constitution. Carl Brennan and Bob Farraday, two retired military officers, try to foil that treasonous plan with support from Texas Governor John Marker and Arizona Governor Ann Melody. What can they do? Will they have time? Can they succeed? God bless America; we certainly hope so!
