Great book, not a boring moment.

Great pace and very well written. I liked how the story was unfolded and told from different point of views. Just about right amount of everything. The narration is spot on (duh, its RCB) and the only bad thing I can think of is that the book felt too short!

Like watching a movie with your minds eye.

Captivating, riveting and imaginative, this story is familiar yet deeply original. Mr. Cole writes a screenplay for your mind mixing Star Trek, Star Wars, Independence Day narratives in a genuinely fresh new take on a Galactic battle pitting mankind and a new Ally against a horrifying species hell-bent on scrubbing humans from the universe with a weapon of true mass destruction.
You can't help but cheer for mankind and the individual characters in the film... I mean book. Ride along as human kind is shoved into the Galactic Government like an unsuspecting mother is ushered into the maternity ward.
Well done. Looking forward to next book.

Just what I was hoping for!!!

Great story, great narration and now I'm on to book two. Dean M. Cole is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. His story telling style transported me into the story like watching a movie in my head.

Great pace and story

I enjoyed the story and characters. It wasn’t too much and the action kept me on the edge of my seat.
As always RC Bray did a phenomenal job bring the characters to life.
