The Dark Disciple's story, now complete!

In this audio edition of the concluding volume of the Dark Disciple trilogy, Mina learns the truth about herself and the terrible knowledge drives her insane. Rhys, the monk of Majere, accompanied by his dog, Atta, and the kender Nightshade, is given the dangerous assignment of guarding the crazed god, escorting her on a long, strange journey to the mysterious place known as Godshome, where Mina hopes to find the answer to the riddle of her existence. Their path is fraught with peril, for the undead Beloved want to make Mina their leader, even as the death knight Krell wants to seize her and Galdar tries to deliver Mina to her most hated enemy.

Margaret Weis Does it Again 👍

Almost all of Weiss’s books are solid & this one is no exception. Still, the 2nd in this “Mina Finds Herself” Trilogy (Amber & Iron) is probably the best. But I have no doubt most Dragonlace fans will approve. NOTE: If you’re just now diving into the Dragonlance (DL) world don’t start here. Previous tentpole trilogies like (“Chronicles”, “The Chaos Wars”, & especially “War of the Souls”) are needed to set the scene & characters up that you’ll meet on this newer adventure. Some DL spin-offs done by other writers are slow & don’t really portray the main characters properly, but stick to the core lore (& good audiobook narrators) & you can’t go wrong. This was my 22 DL book. Please keep them coming!

interesting trilogy

all 3 books are well worth listening to but seems there needs to be another book or 3 following up on the 3 main characters. would have really liked to see what chemosh said meeting his former death knight. LOL enjoy the books now to find next Dragonlance audiobook to listen to.

Awesome

Leslie was wonderful narrating this book. She made me like kenders even though I naturally distrust them and have to keep my eye on my pouches. The story was great, characters were deep and meaningful. I hope there's another trilogy to continue from where this book ends.

it's so much better than the first book

it has some good action, great character interactions, and a deeper look at the pantheon of krynn than previously explored. the first book was a bit of a chore but by the third book, it really kept a good pace and a good story. great narration as always.

Fabulous

Excellent story. Reiss and Nightshade have taken a place next to the original characters. Fabulous

really good book

Overall it's really good, the narrator is great but turns Gerard into a country bumpkin which grates on my nerves.

Great conclusion to the trilogy.

The story was great. The incredible narrator, Leslie Bellair, brought life to characters. I had read the hard copies of the first two but feel like I missed out after hearing this one.

Satisfying conclusion to series

Even though dark disciple is no War of Souls but it is still worth a read by dedicated fans of dragonlance. i definitely enjoyed and am glad i made the effort however if you haven't read the War of Souls you will be completely lost i think or miss the significance of many things.
