Publisher's summary

From USA Today Bestselling Author Aileen Erin

Tessa McCaide has had it up to here with supernaturals.

Luciana may have failed to steal Tessa's magic, but she's just getting started on her crusade for magical domination. If her demonic summoning isn't stopped, it could mean the end of everything.

Tessa's pack, including her mate Dastien, are ready to fight, but the ragtag group of shifters and witches are no match for Luciana's power. A little help (and ancient Inca mojo) from Tessa's bruja cousin, Claudia, may give the side of good a chance if she can make it home in time, but stopping the war is no longer an option.

When witches and werewolves fight, no one wins. Only time will tell who will still be standing after the last spell is cast.

Yikes. Not the greatest Narrator for this story

I LOVE this series. The first three books were some of my favorite books and I’ve read/listened to them three times. When the next few books came out, I was so excited. The narration is just a huge disappointment. I really am surprised in the change from the initial narrator. In this book, the names aren’t pronounced the same, the characters have completely new accents, etc. It’s as if the narrator didn’t listen to the first three to try and provide some consistency for the readers/listeners. It’s definitely a shame because this author is fantastic and the story is good. I’m only on chapter three and having a hard time getting through it with the new narrator. But if you can get over the crazy changes, I can still recommend.

Great story horrible narrator

the narration was awful. I had to speed it up so much because of all the unnecessary pauses. not only that but there was hardly any difference in most of the voices. I love the story but it should go back to the previous narrator.

Oh boy the narrator

This narrator is fine until she tries to do the accents. Coming from Elizabeth Evans to this is pretty grating. Stacys accents are pretty awful. Her French and Irish accents sound the same. I do recall maybe Chris having a thick Texas accent which he does not now. Its just crazy Id imagine if you're writing a book where characters have thick accents you'd find someone who can effectively pull those off. At least she pronounced the names correctly I guess, unlike the narrator of the previous book.

Sad

I LOVE this whole series & Aileen Erin is an AMAZING author!! She is tops in my book!! This Narrative though is the worst I have ever experienced! I have been waiting so long for the Audible. I read the books and it is a series that I will listen to over & over. Reading visual is extremely hard for me bc of poor vision. I don’t mind Stacy Gonzalez reading in her normal voice, she has a pleasant voice. The problem is when she starts reading in a man’s voice especially when she attempts accents, it is nails on a chalkboard bad! Dastien’s French accent was horrific!! Donovan is IRISH and she didn’t come close…it was some sort of BAD British/Australia/Not ANY Country on this planet accent at all!! She just changed her voice and it wasn’t close to anyone actually talking like she did. It distracted from a really good book! I am sad bc I waited a really long time for these amazing books in audio! I probably won’t listen to the books she has narrated in their entirety more than once. I pray that she isn’t narrating Book 9. I
know that I won’t buy another book Stacy Gonzalez narrates ever! I apologize to Aileen for this review bc I LOVE her writing!!
