Publisher's Summary

If I keep her, there’s no going back.

Sam
In the blink of an eye, I’m head-first in a snowdrift, rescued by the biggest, greenest - man? - I’ve ever seen. Whatever he is, he turns my take-no-crap attitude into need. I should escape, but I’ve got a hunch that I’m close to solving a cold case involving several women who disappeared into thin air.

Vemlox
My plan is foolproof. Fetch the Omega and hand her over to Montar, thus sealing Loven’s alliance between Guardians and Horde. Thanks to a glitchy space gate, I’m stuck in a freezing cave with something that’s turned the simple delivery into a suicide mission. An Omega I must not want and can never have.

Unfortunately, she’s going into heat. And Serpent help me, I will betray the Horde and starve on a pole if only to keep her.

cops and alpha knots:)

first off the narration and pacing of this book was splendid. even if the overall story wasnt satisfying the storytelling itself was spot on. could listen to that man say pussy in my ear all day!!
the overall draw back was tge whole daddy dom thing... just not my style..coupled with the outright lies and manipulation and heavy handed sexism disguised as caring for delicate females.... no thanks. some might enjoy it though. its one if those think with your labia not your brain type of books. still fir the type of book it is its still great quality overall. enjoy future readers.

Once again she has written a very interesting book

This is a continuation of alpha breeds, very good world building. You won’t get lost with the characters, very steamy and lots to chuckle about. I like the way that they bring all of the family members slowly together to make one big extended family

Yet another great book

I really, really enjoyed this book. The Alpha was way too hot to handle. The females MC was awesome. She was quick, clever, and fierce. I can't wait for book #4.

Series keeps getting better & better

Vemlox is... I can’t stop grinning as I listen. You’ll enjoy the trek up the mountain. Shades of Tarzan in a blizzard! And that hound is such a scene stealer. Plus Sam and (spoiler) in the same book is too much.
The final scenes are going to grab your attention. Don’t drive distracted, pull over if you’re listening in the car.

Does love or extreme need conquer all?

Samantha is a brand new cop who decided to check out the Frat house where two girls disappeared and finds herself pulled through the space gate to Regha.
With Loven and Kinre mated to their Omegas, it’s up to Vemlox to recruit Montar and his Guardians troops to ally with the Horde. What better way than to tempt Montar with his own Omega? Only problem is Vemlox really can’t give up Sam, even if it means endangering an alliance.
In defending herself from Tayseer, Sam has wounded him and set up the final story in this series arc.
Lucas and Shedlock do a good job with narration.

fun and funny

this one is my favorite out of all of the horde series. I only wish there was more story development for these two characters. I wished we spent more time getting to know them, their life prior to fever and after fever.

A little different

It was refreshing not having things fall into place as usual; it was touch and go and kept me on the edge of my seat. Glad there is another book in this series. The storyline was increasingly better with each book. Narrators did a good job with characters. On to the next book. After this book was completed, Audible didn’t show there was another book in this series; I just happened to find it looking through other books written by this author. It’s called “Alpha Collects”.

Best out of the 3 so far

This has been my favorite of the series so far. I liked that Sam wasn't a complete idiot so it made the story more enjoyable overall.

As usual the narrators are fantastic and I can't praise Aaron Shedlock enough for the personalities he puts into his characters. He takes what Milana Jacks has written and brings it alive.

Speaking of Milana Jacks, she needs to make these books longer. At 4-5 hours these are really novellas and it is a shame. Each story has had snippets of world building that could've been explored while still keeping the pace and heat. I mean, for example, most people with tattoos and piercings have stories behind each one they got...so much potential left behind.

With as short as these books are, I'm guessing they would've been included in Audible Escape before it was shut it down, which is too bad because I'm not going to waste my more expensive credits on these books and therefore have to buy them separately instead. Not a deal breaker, but does make me want a little bit more for the money.
