Publisher's Summary

Each of the three Schuyler sisters has her own world-class problems, but in the autumn of 1966, Pepper Schuyler's problems are in a class of their own. When Pepper fixes up a beautiful and rare vintage Mercedes and sells it at auction, she thinks she's finally found a way to take care of herself and the baby she carries, the result of an affair with a married, legendary politician.

But the car's new owner turns out to have secrets of her own, and as the glamorous and mysterious Annabelle Dommerich takes pregnant Pepper under her wing, the startling provenance of this car comes to light: a Nazi husband, a Jewish lover, a flight from Europe, and a love so profound it transcends decades. As the many threads of Annabelle's life from World War II stretch out to entangle Pepper in 1960s America, and the father of her unborn baby tracks her down to a remote town in coastal Georgia, the two women must come together to face down the shadows of their complicated pasts.

Indomitable heroines, a dazzling world of secrets, champagne at the Paris Ritz, and a sweeping love story for the ages in New York Times best-selling author Beatriz William's final book about the Schuyler sisters.

Rollicking yarn that holds you in its grip

This is another of Beatriz Williams exciting historical jaunts through the twentieth century. Highly enjoyable, though the text could have used some judicious editing of the sex scenes in particular. A bit cringe-making!

Boring as written

This should have been entitled the sex life of Annabelle. I got so bored with the continual sex scenes and listening to how beautiful she and the second character were. The story of a Mercedes being found and auctioned off is fabulous. I couldn't help but wonder how it would have been told with less sex and a deeper story line. Shame to waste such an intriguing story line.

Pepper is kind of a b-word

LOVE Schuyler sister series. They sweep you up quickly with romance and historical fiction and wrap you up in each of the character's lives.

I'm only giving this story 4 stars because of two reasons. First, Pepper was unnecessarily rude to everyone in her life, she didn't have the charm that Vivian Schuyler (Secret Life of Violent Grant) had. I don't mind a little sass in a character , but her insolence had no cause. What truly makes this story worthwhile is Annabelle. Lastly, I wasn't exactly pleased with how it ended... Without spoiling too much I will just leave it at that.

Besides those two tiny hitches in the story, I loved it! It's a great story that you will fly through!

PS. If you can, read the stories in order

Confusing format for me

Unfortunately, although I believe I would like this story, I found it too confusing with the constant jumping back and forth between eras and people.

Along the Infinite Sea

The book was awesome in every way except for the use of the Lord’s name in vain! It was totally without merit when any other vulgar word could have been substituted. The story lines were captivating and I loved the strong female characters! I just wish you could have avoided the use of that particular curse word!

Good story

This story was good the language is really bad. It’s not to be listened to on Alexa while cleaning the house with the kids. Wish writers could express themselves without using such foul language

my favorite book!! Can't stop thinking about it.

Where does Along the Infinite Sea rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is definitely one of the best!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Along the Infinite Sea?

Everything started coming together in the last hour of the book. That was when I wanted to start it over and pay better attention to details and clues from the beginning.

What about Kathleen McInerney’s performance did you like?

She changed voices very well, but I did not love her depiction of the men in the book. They all sounded choppy/rough/not friendly at all. Almost like robots.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Annabelle finds Stephan again.

Any additional comments?

I didn't care for Pepper's voice. Loved this book though!

Wonderful!

This book goes back to Germany and the war and then comes forward. Was very interesting to listen to, because things like this that long ago probably did happen. It is sad the way some lives were torn apart, and yet others were brought together. Loved the book! Kathleen is one of my favorite narrators !!!

Best so Far - Schuyler Sisters

I loved this book. I couldn't wait for the end....while never wanting it to end. Towards the end, I went in search of spoilers. Fortunately, I could not find any. Again an excellent performance by Kathleen M. Going to finish the series with A Tiny Thing. Have fun.
