Publisher's summary

Charles Lindsay, the Earl of Coventry has big plans. None of them include a wife. His club is his main concern, and the men who he's come to respect. He's one of the wickedest rogues in the ton and he makes no apologies for it. That all changes when he meets Lady Abigail Halsey....

All the ladies in town adore Coventry, but none of them manage to capture his heart. Can Lady Abigail achieve a feat no other lady has and make the earl fall?

Very interesting story

Another sad start but what a delightful ending. Two people who don't want to fall in love or get married find their way to each other. I really enjoyed the baiting of each other, nothing like sparing with words. It was very entertaining but a little rushed. I did so enjoy watching these two go at it.

The narration was very good however there was a lot of repeating and does need some editing. The narrator normal voice is very pleasant, she has wonderful character voices, you always know who is talking and what they are feeling. There not any background noises, or volume changes.

I really did enjoy this audio and look forward to listening to more of this series.

great romance

I received this book for free for a honest review. I loved how this story flowed and the characters interacted. The author did a great job of taking yoy back in time. The narrator did an excellent job of bringing the characters to life

Short & sweet

All the Ladies Love Coventry, the fifth installment in the Bluestockings Defying Rogues, is a fun and easy listen. Dawn Brower is a master at writing short-novels. Despite the length, the storyline is well-written and well-paced. The characters are charming and delightful. I was given a free copy of this audiobook and have voluntarily left this review.

Fun and fast listen!

I love Dawn Brower's stories and this novella does not disappoint. I first met an older Earl of Coventry in another book. This is the story of his younger years and falling in love with Lady Abigail. Entertaining, well-written, and romantic. The narrator was okay. She had good inflection but her voices often got mixed up and a couple of the Earl's friends occasionally sounded like feeble old men. However, the story itself made it more than worth a listen!

How it all started!

If you’ve read the Wicked Earls series then this is a must listen! If you haven’t listened to that series you will want to by the end of All the Ladies Love Coventry! Charles is a such a gentle soul, along with his good friend George he starts a gentleman’s club for his fellow Earls that need a safe place outside of the eyes of London Society. What he doesn’t want is a wife! Abigail likes books better then people so she is happy to live her spinster life quietly in Scotland. A chance meeting at a ball she attends to help her sister find a husband changes both their lives. This is a well written sweet and witty love story of two people finding love when they least expect or want it

Rake and Regency Debutante

A fun short (less than 2 hours) Regency romance between a dedicated rake attempting to build a new club and an older debutante that would have preferred Edinburgh.
