Story
The first time I saw Brinley Knox, she was crying, draped in a ridiculous pink tulle dress for her sweet 16, and cursing the boy who’d broken her heart. I was the hired help, a teenage charity case. She was the daughter of the wealthiest family in Orchid Valley. I knew a girl like Brinley was off-limits. That didn’t stop me from kissing her. Or from promising that if she were ever mine, I’d never let her go.

Story
After Abriella's sister was sold to the fae, she thought life couldn't get any worse. But when she suddenly finds herself caught in a web of lies of her own making - loving two princes and trusting neither—things are not quite as clear as she once thought. As civil war wages in the Court of Darkness, Brie finds herself unable to choose a side. How can she know where she stands when she doesn't even know herself anymore? In this darkly romantic thrill ride, the more Faerie is torn apart from the inside, the clearer it becomes that prophecies don't lie.

The first time I met Merrick Crawford was during my job interview. Well, technically, I’d met him 20 minutes earlier when he’d barged into a fitting room a few doors down from my appointment. I yelled. He yelled. After an argument while standing in my bra, I proceeded to smash the door into the gorgeous jerk, trying to yank it shut. As you might imagine, I was freaked out when I discovered that the rude guy was my potential new boss. Yet he didn’t seem to recognize me. Or so I thought.... Until we wound up bickering again during my interview and he told me to go sniff my armpit.

Fifteen years ago, I fell for Jack O’Donnell. I was just a girl, but I knew my brother’s best friend was the only man I’d ever love. On my 18th birthday, when I asked him to kiss me, I never imagined it would change my life so completely. I gave Jack everything that night. In order to move on, we had to go our separate ways and pretend like nothing happened...as though it wasn’t the greatest moment of my life. But even that wasn’t as heartbreaking as the secret we were forced to keep.

Story
In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue - Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is - she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

Publisher's Summary
What if you would never remember the day you made the most important decision of your life? That's what they're telling me about the day of my accident - the day I put on Max's ring and chose him over Nate. I'm counting on the wisdom behind a decision I don't remember making. Max is amazing - sexy, sweet, and kind. I was starting to believe happily-ever-after might be in my future after all. Then the unthinkable happened and my world imploded. If I'm going to make this work with Max, I need my missing memories, or at least answers from about those five days before my accident. But what does my future hold if those answers aren't anything like I imagined?

Wanted to love this series
Would you listen to All for This again? Why?
This was a good series except it seems to go on and on. It would have been a 5 star if Lexi Ryan put this into one or two books.
Any additional comments?
I feel the plot was unique and the characters were developed. I will continue to follow Lexi Ryan and only hope she doesn't drag out her next books. I am also thankful her books have a HEA. I would hate to spend 20 plus hours for a tear jerker.

Add the ending to the first book and call it a day
Someone said that you had to listen to each book in sequence. The first 1/4 of the second and third books were a repeat of the first book. Where I could tell what was happening in the first book even though the author jumped around with the story, I had a bit of trouble in the second and third books. Where I was excited for Hanna to make a choice in the her life partner in the first book, by the end of book 2, I was over it. I agree this story worked okay with two books, it could easily have been done in one book. I increased the speed of the narrator and even jumped to the last chapter of this, the third book. I have never done that. But, I did go back to Chapter 12 and listen to the end. Just wanted to know what new information was provided that made Hanna choose who she chose. I was please that her choice would have been mine. However, throughout the series, my choice changed between the two guys. Too bad she couldn't clone herself.

Great story
I love Lexi Ryan and this was a great trilogy. There were a lot of different emotional elements to the story that kept me captivated. Lexi has a way of making the intimate scenes sexy but also tasteful. It’s not cringey like some smut I’ve read. On audible, the performance for Nate’s character in book 2 and 3 was tough to listen to. He’s a little too dramatic, breathy, and over-annunciates. It kinda killed the character for me and I found myself getting annoyed when that performer was narrating. I may read the stories on my own just so I can interpret Nate in my own mind. The other two performers were wonderful.

It’s okay
This trilogy could’ve honestly be written in one good book. Too much repetition in the beginning of books 2 and 3. Felt like it would drag on and on. There’s way too much going back and forth between the past and present. Sometimes it would skip “10 months before the accident” then “3 days before the accident” then again “5 months before the accident” and “the day of the accident” I would sometimes get confused as to where I left off or what was going on. Also the person who played Nate always seemed as if he was a frantic mess at all times but when the story was being said from Hanna’s, Nate’s character sounded calm and collected. Finally, I don’t mind a sensual/sexually scene in a story but for the protagonist who’s still a virgin and waiting for marriage ease up with the oral sex scenes. It got a little ridiculous how much action she was getting and going back and forth with her two love interests. I heard other books from Lexi Ryan that I enjoyed very much but this wasn’t one.

Perfect Ending for Hanna
Here and Now is an interesting title for Hanna’s story because, for the most part, she’s not living in the present. She’s stuck recalling information that hurts her and redefines her life in many ways. Hanna is not the same person since the accident; from my perspective, there’s a clear distinction between the pre-accident Hanna and the post accident Hanna, but she doesn’t seem to realize that because she’s dealing with information overload. She has two men, who are diverse in most ways except for how they feel about her, vying for her affection. Her mind is a jumbled mess, but I always felt like her heart made the choice for her so long ago; she just needed her mind to catch up with it. The love triangle that exists between Hanna, Max, and Nate is atypical, in a way, because it seems like the dilemma stems from who Hanna truly wants versus who everyone else wants for her. All of her life, Hanna has always let others influence and dictate her life, which has only resulted in an extremely poor sense of self and a life not truly lived. By the end of All For This, Hanna asks for what she wants and needs and knows, in her heart, that that’s what she should have chosen since the very beginning.
As Hanna's personal life gets more and more complicated, the three narrators allow listeners to understand what's at stake for all of them. Hanna's, Max's, and Nate's emotions are made clear through the varying intonations that the narrators use, which added to my appreciation of the text as a whole.
All For This is the perfect ending to Hanna’s story because as Hanna's memories return and others help to fill in the blanks, everything becomes clear for both Hanna and the listeners/readers, which is exactly the resolution readers are looking for in the final book of a series. I loved the Here and Now series, and I can’t wait to see what Lexi Ryan gives listeners/readers next.

Good story overall
I enjoyed the first book. The second and third books were becoming a little frustrating to see what actually happened leading to Hanna’s accident. I was also getting a little annoyed with hanna going back and forth between the two men, they both had great qualities and it would be hard to chose but it just seemed to be back and forth depending on who was closest at the time. I was pleased with the ending and how things turned out. Over all a good story with plenty of twists and turns.
