Publisher's Summary

INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

The #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Ends with Us—whose writing is “emotionally wrenching and utterly original” (Sara Shepard, New York Times bestselling author of the Pretty Little Liars series)—delivers a tour de force novel about a troubled marriage and the one old forgotten promise that might be able to save it.

Quinn and Graham’s perfect love is threatened by their imperfect marriage. The memories, mistakes, and secrets that they have built up over the years are now tearing them apart. The one thing that could save them might also be the very thing that pushes their marriage beyond the point of repair.

All Your Perfects is a profound novel about a damaged couple whose potential future hinges on promises made in the past. This is a heartbreaking thriller that asks: Can a resounding love with a perfect beginning survive a lifetime between two imperfect people?

Oh Colleen, you sure know how to turn me into a moody girl! All Your Perfects was a complete emotional roller coaster for me. I was MAD, I was Happy, I was Sad, I was Annoyed, I was Broken and most of this was after chapter 20! Up until chapter 20 I was mostly frustrated. I personally love how this story went back and forth from past to present, without the past I don't think I would have felt the same about these characters or their situation. This is a very hard subject matter and I can't even imagine how it would feel so who am I to judge the way they handled it ...or didn't handle it. I loved how this book made me feel in the end and as always Colleen Hoover shows me how to be empathetic to other peoples situation because it's easy to say they should do this or do that but people aren't always rational when they are breaking. The ending was beautiful!

The narration was great, I think she was a great choice for these characters.

Love/Hate

So glad I got to read this first! As usual, Colleen Hoover grabs you and plays with you until you are putty in her hands. This is another one of her books where one read is not enough. As for the Audible version, what a huge disappointment. It is almost tragic that an author that draws so much emotion with her words is paired with a narrator that seems to not be invested at all in the story. She narrates this deep book as she would reporting the six o'clock news on September 11. I gave the performance one star and it deserved zero.

Married Life Ain't Easy

Colleen Hoover could write a grocery list and I would be the first in line to read it. That is how much I love her words. If Colleen is new to you, I would suggest starting with the Hopeless books or Slammed Series instead of this one, but it is not necessary. There a countless number books where boy meets girl, there is a conflict or two and then they live happily ever after. Sure, I like to read those because it is a nice escape from reality, but that is not how it works in the real world. In All Your Perfects we get to see a more natural, realistic progression in Quinn and Graham’s relationship, from when they met to years into their marriage. Marriage is hard. Like really hard. And I am not even married or an expert on marriage. I don’t even play one on TV. But, I know it’s hard. I did have to wait several days before I wrote this review just to let everything soak in as I wasn’t quite sure what I thought at first. I came to the conclusion that while I have not found myself in the same situations as Quinn and Graham, I think there are so many aspects of their story that people will connect with and apply to their own lives. Not just in your intimate relationships, but with friends, parents, siblings, etc. I listened to the Audible version and really liked it.
There is a good chance tears will be shed and an even better chance that this story will resonate with you for a long time.

Heart wrenching story, subpar narration

CH did it again with a captivating story that gives you all the feels...however, a different narrator would have made it better. It was hard to tell if the character was speaking or thinking, and there just wasn’t enough emotion for the topic

All Your Perfects

Qhinn and Graham

Boy oh boy, this book brought out so much emotion in me.

I was frustrated to the extreme at the beginning but I was invested. I was waiting for it and waiting for it and poof then I was tearing up and fighting the emotions, do I like or do I hate, do I understand and the frustration of understanding.
THEN my heart was being ripped from my chest.

I then had to walk away and calm myself

I came back and poof I was fighting the tears again. In the end, I was smiling and so full of all the happiness and joy emotions.

How can Colleen do this to me?!?!? The talent she has is astounding.

This was my review of my feelings… You should read this book… That is all.

Another "No Baby = Marriage Failing" Book. *SNORE*

I tried with this book, in spite of the "married couple become alienated from each other when they can't have a baby" trope.

I had to stop listening because I just could not empathise with the bitter, whining, self pitying and selfish main character. It was disgusting how self absorbed she was, whinging about her friends on social media who had the "audacity" to share information about their pregnancies or life with children. How bitter and twisted can you be?

I had to draw the line and stop listening when she became downright manipulative with her husband. The way she coerces him to have sex with her under the guise of genuine love and desire when really she is just using him for her own means (to procreate) made my skin crawl. Then she becomes weepy and angry with him when he (forgive the graphic description) doesn't "finish" inside her. Enough. It disgusted me.

I will be asking for my credit back.

Another great book. (Turn narration speed down)

i highly recommended that you turn the speed down to 95 while listening to this book. the narrator does a good job but she was narrating to fast at the beginning. Once i turned the speed down the book was very enjoyable. it wasnt my favorite Coleen Hoover book but it was still excellent.

TRIGGER WARNING

So, I knew what this book was about before I started it but I was NOT prepared. I cried, endless tears. I made the mistake of reading this book during my IVF journey. I related to the heroine in so many ways, and it made me reflect on myself completely. I connected with this book so much because my journey to motherhood has been a struggle, I’m still in the struggled and tried so many of the methods she did. I wish more couples could understand each other they way they did, because unfortunately , infertility ruins so many marriages .

Just Perfects, lol

No complaints and not enough time in the world to express my love and gratitude for this book.

It’s basically my life in a reversed role. My boyfriend of 6 years cannot father children due to some medical issues he was born with. We have not intentionally tried to have kids but also haven’t prevented them either. And slowly I’ve grown to realize it isn’t in the cards for us.

Hopefully when we become super serious about trying I can keep this book in mind and apply it to our situation. I’ll remember the ups and downs these characters have faced and know there’s more to us than our flaws.

“If you only shine light on your flaws, all your perfects will dim.”

THANK YOU, COLLEEN HOOVER!!

Amazing. HeartWrenchingly Beautiful. Powerful. Raw

All your perfects is such an amazing book. It takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. As a woman who has pcos and endometriosis that struggles with infertility this book really hit home. I felt everything Quinn was feeling. I felt like Colleen could have been talking about me at times. I felt every emotion while reading this book. There were times I was crying, times I was laughing, times I wanted to throw my phone and times I had to turn it off and walk away. It is so raw, powerful and heart wrenchingly beautiful. Colleen is such an amazing author. All your Perfects has to be her most emotional book yet and the best book of 2018! You will not regret buying this one. I loved it!

A nice nivel, not the best

It’s an easy to read/listen to novel, and the caracteres feel very real and relatable, however, the story get a bit repetitive and boring at some points. I gave it 3 stars but I still recommend it if you’re looking for something light and romantic.

AMAZING!!

I mean, this book! *flails*
Wow wow wow. I loved it.
There is not a single human alive that would be unable to relate to at least one of the characters in some way. It was so real, so raw, so beautiful.
Colleen Hoover's work is just getting better and better.
And that little treasure in the Epilogue - gosh I got goosebumps and had the biggest smile on my face! If you've read all of Colleen's work, including this one, then you'll know what I'm talking about :) :) :) :) :)
