Publisher's summary

The epic and highly anticipated conclusion to the listener-favorite series that had countless Audible listeners (and employees) hooked from the very first Bob - featuring, as always, a flawless performance from the inimitable Ray Porter.

Being a sentient spaceship really should be more fun. But after spreading out through space for almost a century, Bob and his clones just can't stay out of trouble.

They've created enough colonies so humanity shouldn't go extinct. But political squabbles have a bad habit of dying hard, and the Brazilian probes are still trying to take out the competition. And the Bobs have picked a fight with an older, more powerful species with a large appetite and a short temper.

Still stinging from getting their collective butts kicked in their first encounter with the Others, the Bobs now face the prospect of a decisive final battle to defend Earth and its colonies. But the Bobs are less disciplined than a herd of cats, and some of the younger copies are more concerned with their own local problems than defeating the Others.

Yet salvation may come from an unlikely source. A couple of eighth-generation Bobs have found something out in deep space. All it will take to save the Earth and perhaps all of humanity is for them to get it to Sol - unless the Others arrive first.

All These Worlds is the third installment in the blockbuster Audible Original Bobiverse series - which has sold more than one million copies.

Clean ending to a fantastic series

Note: Early readers need to redownload to get the complete book!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As with any series ending, you always wish there was more, and this book didn't feel as complete as the others, but was still a great read. The conflicts that arose were varied, and exposes the depths of humanity's desire for power and self interest. They were not as complex as in the previous two books, and the resolution came about a bit easy at times, but it didn't take away my enjoyment. Besides, we wanted to get to the battle with the Others anyway. Again, it was over a bit too quickly, but definitely gives you a sense of finality. The only minor sticking point is the Medeiros story line doesn't feel as complete. There are some real emotional highs and lows in this book I don't want to come close to spoiling. Overall a great end to a fantastic series.

Ray Porter's performance is amazing.

Do not read this book without finishing the previous two.

Satisfying End to a Fun Series

It took a while for this one to get going for me but by the end of it I felt completely satisfied. Taylor wraps up all the loose ends and gives fitting endings to all of the characters. In keeping with the other 2 books, this one kept the balance of humor, pop culture references, heartfelt moments, and action. Ray Porter continues to show why he is one of the best in the business. I look forward to his future works.

I hope that this is the ending. Not because I'm glad it is over but rather I would hate to see it be brought back and have the conclusion tainted. The subjective nature of the ending is something that my friends and I are continuing to discuss and that is what makes a great story.

I wonder what could have been

I'm not a writer and don't pretend to be a critic. It's easy to see what occurs in multi-sequel books and movies, that it's just not easy to tie a grand scheme together time after time. This is sort of how I felt with the wrap up of this series. The first part was excellent, interesting and novel... a new twist to AI and space exploration. But as the story progressed, it got bogged down in personal politics and rushed storytelling. It's like the author came to a crossroad in book 2... to the left lead a path that would bring this series to epic proportions and galactic grandeur, while the right path lead to a quick and convenient end. You can sense the greatness of what could have been and, in finishing the story, I felt a sense of loss that it could have been more.

That is not to say it was not enjoyable. It was just too conveniently and quickly ended.

The narrator was good throughout the books and finished well here in book three.

It was worth the credit and I don't regret it, although I'll continue to wonder what could have been.

NOTHING HAD EVER BEEN INVENTED OR DISCOVERED

THAT WAS BETTER THAN CHOCOLATE
I loved book one
I liked book two
I could not finish book three

I listened to almost five hours. No aliens, very little space exploration, but lots of politics and fist fights on that planet with the cave men. First of all if you have not read the first two books, do not even try this one, you will be totally lost. If you were not crazy about book 2, this is worse.

This had way too much explanation about stuff I don't care about. It as like listening to someone explain how to play Forge of Empires. I great game to play, but not to listen to.

Ray Porter does one hell of a good job

a Great Trilogy

For the early downloaders like me, re-download. It got cut off. This set of books was a fresh angle for me on sci-fi. It kept me engaged in it and considering everything, it is safe enough to let my kids read too without being too explicit, which is something I highly value. Great job!

Early Adopters got a shortened book

What did you love best about All These Worlds?

Great wrap up to the trilogy, Unexpected ending to Butterworth... but gotta put some twists in some time. Wanted more Pavs, gotta bring them up to modern times.

What about Ray Porter’s performance did you like?

Great voice actor... glad they kept him for the trilogy!

Any additional comments?

If you got this and there are only 63 chapters, remove it then download it again, and you'll get the rest of the chapters. They "fixed, the glitch".

Eh??

I loved the first and second book. But this one seemed like the author just wanted to finish the book off and move on (felt rushed). Quick convenient conclusions of everything. Still enjoyable.. just not to par with the previous books.

Excellent

Excellent and imaginative. a really interesting view of what the human mind is capable of if given time. And how politics, Religious views and fanaticism can easily destroy a civilization.

Why is this not a TV series!

This book is an excellent unique story. Each Bob has his own story. Lots of action, some romance and a very in depth plot.

If you got this far, you have a pretty good idea

This is the weakest of the Bobiverse books, but it's still good and if you finished the previous two you will of course want to find out what happens. My main complaint is the jumps between multiple plots with hugely different stakes. One plot might be concerned with the fate of an entire race, another they might be purely personal, and they play out at the same time, without either plot informing the other. It's a bit schizophrenic. But I still recommend the whole series, and Ray Porter's voice will always BE Bob to me.
