This is the best of talley’s books. Finally she gave me some real sweet without a bucket of spice.

Nick and Eden

Just finished this audible and even though I enjoyed listening to it there were a few things that made me struggle between a 3 and a 4 star. First Eden sounded quiet and shy and like she wasn't good enough to speak up and then other times she stood up for herself. I liked Nick until the last few chapters he treated Eden pretty poorly about following her dreams and then when he said something about putting her over his knee and spanking her made me roll my eyes. Sophie was so sweet! In the end I liked them all and I'm glad they all found their happiness. I enjoyed reading about a group of female BFs.

I could listen for hours...

I could listen to the narrator for hours and the story line was great! My attention was completely captured and I will be listening to the entire series. Period.

Morning Glory Charmed

I so love these stories. They are very predictable, but they make you feel good, and that love will always triumph. The narrator does an excellent job with all the different characters.

I enjoyed this book. It was fun to listen to and get lost in the story. The narrator was really good too!

All That Charm

I am loving this series! We now get to know Eden. She has basically put her life on hold to take care of her mother for the past 10 years and now her sister is coming home so she can leave and go to school. With the help of the money left to her from Laci, she is off to New Orleans where she finds the job is no longer there and her apartment is disgusting. Now she has to find a job to stay and she is directed to a school for special needs children and ends up with a job as a nanny for a special girl with a yummy dad. Nick is something else. This job allows her to still go to school but ends up putting school on hold and getting another job, and what a job it is. She finds a job at a burlesque house and was supposed to be in a chorus line but on opening night ends up headlining and was a hit. Soon she has a chance to head to New York. This one had me shaking my head thinking it was not going to find a happy ending but it ultimately did. So, so good!

Fun to read about places I know

Set mostly in New Orleans, this is the story of Eden and how she finds herself, and love, without compromise. This could have been a "man gets what he wants" story but it turned out to be a woman thinks she knows what she wants. figures out what she wants, and goes for it story. In the end the woman gets her dreams fulfilled, even a few she didn't know she had. The man learns a few things about himself and what might be if he grows the heck up. A nice 3rd book in the series.

Great Series

Absolutely loved the sweet southern charm in these stories. I have not been disappointed in a Liz Talley book yet!!
