Publisher's summary

From Book 1: It may be cold outside, but the snow begins to melt when an unlikely couple comes together during the holidays....

Christmas is right around the corner, but after creating a society scandal, New York heiress Melody Hascall-Ebons has nowhere to turn. Cut off by her family for running away with an actor - who turned out to be using her for publicity - Mel is penniless, homeless, and disgraced. There’s only one place to go, and that’s back to the fiancé she ditched. But instead of her ex, she finds his friend Daveed Rafik. The handsome military translator disarms Mel with his easy smile and surprising sympathy. But as she struggles to get her life on track, the last thing Mel needs is to fall into the strong arms of her ex-fiancé’s best friend.

Counter-terrorism expert Sheikh Daveed Rafik has spent his career dealing with delicate and dangerous situations, but none of them compares to Melody Hascall-Ebons. He’s supposed to be helping his friend Murphy find his missing sister, not consoling the spoiled rich girl who dumped their buddy Heath. But the more he learns about Melody, the more he likes. With her unexpected intelligence and distinctive beauty, Melody calls to him in powerful ways. But when the woman he is arranged to marry shows up, Daveed’s highly organized life suddenly gets very complicated.

The streets of New York are steeped in holiday cheer, but can Daveed and Melody thaw the ice around their hearts enough to make room for love?

Sweet and fun!! 🤗🤗

I've been binging on D. C. Cole narrations recently. I have a handful of favorite Male narrators and D. C. Cole is on my list. I enjoyed these novellas because they were sweet, funny and a little sexy along with a little intrigue in the stories. D.C. is a 5 star narrator and he made these stories enjoyable. I can't say these were epic, raw, edgy or intense like I prefer, but refreshing and just nice to listen to. He's good at making you chuckle too. Thanks to the author too ...3 novellas and 1 credit.. liked that to.

Perfect way to warm up on a cold winter night.....

All I Want for Christmas is a combination of three novellas following the lives of three comrades and former soldiers as they find love and solve a mystery along the way. The first book features a current prince and future king, Daveed, and a disgraced and disowned heiress, Melody. This is the classic enemies to lovers romance. The next romance is more of a musical chairs type of romance as Daveed's friend Murphy, a Navy seal, meets Daveed's former fiance, Shayma, a wealthy Arabian woman suddenly at loose ends after ending her arranged engagement. The final romance continues the musical chairs theme as Melody's former fiance Heath falls in love with Murphy's sister Aileen.

If you feel like this setup is rather convoluted, don't worry because Leslie North makes it work. As with all of her books, the ladies are the perfect combination of vulnerable and resilient with plenty of spunk to keep these men on their toes. The men are the epitome of book boyfriend material with their alpha male tendencies masking their secret desire to be in a loving relationship. Throw in a lot of great interaction between the six characters, an interesting mystery, and an ending that left me certain these six had a happy future ahead of them, and this three book series is a keeper.

D.C. Cole's narration is fantastic. I have listened to many of his performances, and they all make every story more enjoyable as an audiobook. He has a deep, sexy voice that suits the romance genre well, and his delivery is so smooth and flawless that I lose track of time listening to him.

'A Sheikh For Christmas'
A terrific story. I didn't appreciate Mel's attitude for the first part of the story. She seemed for spoiled rich girl thinking only of herself. As the story went on, I was pleased to see her changing some of her attitudes. Not all but moving in the right direction. Looking forward to seeing more the this couple in the next series story.

'A SEAL For Christmas'
Boy can Murphy be stubborn and single minded. Many times he is like a bulldozer, totally focused on his objective and pushing his way to what he wanted. I loved Shayma, she is smart, cool in tough circumstances and can make Murphy pause and think logically. They make a terrific couple.

'A Billionaire For Christmas'
What a end to a great trilogy. That Heathcliff comes across Aileen almost by accident is amazing. That he is swayed by her to not tell his friends? Ridiculous. Her logic is cockeyed at best but entertaining. Sure, she wants to write this story but why couldn't she do it with their help?

I liked how Aileen could and did kick but. She has a devious mind. She and Heath will make a good couple if they can look Aileen can look beyond herself and see the bigger picture.

D. C. Cole did an awesome job bringing the trilogy to life.

North and Cole make a great team.

The mystery begins with a battle of wills and ends with a meeting of hearts. North keeps the senses on high alert with a bit of high octane action that will steal your breath and more than enough temptation that will send tingles through your soul. All I Want For Christmas takes a different approach to the holiday season. From rekindled romances, to missing persons and page turning twists, there's never a dull moment. Cole takes emotions to the brink and back. North and Cole make a great team.
