In the shadows of Ravenholde, the things you can't see will kill you.
With the infection ravaging our mystical town and no antidote in sight, tensions between the Shadow Council members are at an all-time high.
When I start to find a place within the Shifter community, Caton shows signs that he may have been hasty in ending our marriage, but Lucinda turns the coven against me to ensure I can never return. The controversy with the Council initiates an argument with Ayesha, my mentor, and business partner, and I'm faced with losing my shop and the means to help the people of Ravenholde.
Do I turn my back on the town that raised me or risk losing the one thing in the world that's mine?

Eve continues to build her clientele from both the various paranormal and mundane communities at her shop The Blue Moon. Meanwhile, assisting the Shadow Council in combating the rapidly changing virus being spread by deranged vampire Darick.
Gaining an ally in Hunter the wolf pack leader who did trusts witches, and building a rapport with Nishi are the only saving graces as Eve continuously is confronted by her ex Caton and his new partner Lucinda. Their support is paramount to Eve as she is blindsided by her coven, particularly Lucinda's actions.
An unexpected chilliness in Eve and Ayesha's relationship creeps up with no warning or clues as to what has caused the Fae leader to turn against Eve. This remains unexplored and unsolved by the end of the book as the crisis with the virus takes center stage.
Once again, this book like the last leaves us with a cliffhanger so be prepared to read the next book in the series.
Naomi Rose-Mock brings the book to life with the same great presentation of the first book.
