Publisher's summary

Ever since the virus took our women, we've been searching.

Searching for their magical gift to create new life.

Searching for the fire in their eyes when they scream our names in the heat of passion.

So when I find Priya, a curvy, dark-eyed human stowaway, there's only one thing on my mind. Do I care if I'm royalty and she's a fugitive? Do I care if mating with her could risk everything?

Of course not.

The only thing I care about is caressing her delicious curves, opening her legs, and knowing the sweet, wet pleasure inside her. I couldn't resist her pull even if I wanted to.

I'll protect her from everyone, even my own people, even from the pirates trying to board our ship. I'll protect her until my dying breath.

Bonding with her is forbidden. She's going to be my mate.

The Youngest Prince

Story-wise, this wasn't my favorite in the series, but then you don't necessarily have to like every character in a world to find their story entertaining. I really liked getting more of the family dynamic and the way the brothers interacted with each other and with their father, as well as seeing a different side to the king. I felt like Aullex was a bit of a gamma male when it came to confrontations which did not make me a fan of his at times, and Priya was basically in her situation because she made a dumb mistake and then didn't have the guts to come clean--so they had that in common. In any case, I managed to really enjoy the story of these two flawed people and how they overcame their baggage to find their HEA, in spite of not particularly liking or relating to them much. The series is different and fun, and I'm looking forward to Avren's book.

Ummmm

Well.... I felt bad for Priya, except she found the love of her life. Everyone has to go through a crap shoot every now and then. She seriously has some crappy luck without him. Then again I thought Allex’s back bone had been infected with his wings when he was younger. He kept refusing to claim her and obviously she would have ended up with a black eye because she did move fast enough and was sent off a criminal to some lava place or planet....????

He saved her!!! Yeah!!! But still could have stopped it all. I guess it’s not if you love them let them go and if they come back you know. It’s more I love her and I’m scared I still want to hide her and run away (with her) never tell daddy who is the one who sent her to prison that she’s my mate because I hate him and at the same time want him & everyone else happiness over my own and my mates. Soooooo... 2 stars only because he did tell daddy though I wonder if he would have if he hadn’t to happened to be there when he chased after Pirya when she finally left him when he again denied to come clean they were mates.

Love those brothers

Another tale in the Auxem series of the Terra mates. This is Alexx and Pryya. Lisa has done it again. I can't wait till the next. Each one of the books about the brothers are great. I have enjoyed these stories. They are some of my favorites.

I think the male lead was too weak

Struggled to finished , couldn't get into the female narrator
I was waiting for the male lead to man up and stop being a little boy.

OMGosh...

This story is my second favorite of the four I've read. I'm still reading it, but the interaction between Allex and his father in the starship, his father's broken voice and the honesty in his words, brought tears to my eyes. This is the first time during this series that I've actually cried. I've had many times of getting angry and asking WTF, many times of laughing, and many times of holding onto the edge of my seat waiting for whatever was gonna happen next. This is, by far, the best of the emotions I've experienced. The narrator, Paul Brion, made this scene in particular very heartwarming. Well done to him. The female narrator also did a really good job. Together they made it a heck of a story to listen to. Of course, without the author, the story wouldn't have been possible, so well done to Lisa Lace as well. Allex and Priya's story is my favorite, second only to Ayrie and Elle's story. I can't wait to listen to the fourth book, Avren.

Good story, but some details are inconsistent

Good storyline, but some inconsistencies; like the woman gets a black eye from a guard, but within hours is not noticed again by her lover (not to mention she was shot but they make love that night). So much more could have been added in and made it a great book. Great narration on both sides.

DNF - boring boring boring

I have about 200 audio books and most in this genre so maybe I've just gone through all the good ones already but this one just wasn't one of them. I lost interest and got bored when they were hiding from the pirates. The female narrator just didn't do it for me and found her narration grating. Chapter 9 out of 20 and I couldn't take it - going back to relisten to The Alliance series by SE Smith.

Inconsistencies

I like the series and the stories for each brother. My hang up about them is that the story says all the women died out on their planet when they were young boys and for years they were searching for women to breed with..yet in several instances the characters recall having experiences with women, even girlfriends. Who were these women? Where did they come from? Why weren’t they breeding with them? How can you have experience with women if there aren’t any?

Enjoyable Action packed Romance

Alex is the baby but has suffered greatly. Priya us an accidental stowaway who's been able to hide for longer than she expected. When Allex find Priya, anger becomes lust but the pair will need more that lust to keep this couple's relationship together.
It's another action-packed Romantic adventure for the Auxem men and their mates.
Kelly Morgan and Paul Brion did an amazing job in narrating this book.
