Publisher's Summary

Alibi II picks up where Alibi left off. The year is 2006, and Diane Praeliou is happily married and living on a horse ranch in Arizona, when she receives a letter that threatens her entire world. Someone knows her true identity.

In 1986, Daisy was given a second chance at life when she received a new identity and a fresh start as a college student in Arizona, courtesy of the Witness Protection Program.

Nard wasn’t so lucky. He was sentenced to 20 years to life in a western Pennsylvania facility and has endured things that no man should ever have to endure. All Nard can think about is Daisy’s testimony and how much he wants revenge.

Diane goes on living life, finding love, and getting married until things slowly begin to spiral out of control. What makes matters worse is now Nard is out on parole and Diane is afraid for herself and her family. Feigning innocence, Diane can only turn to one person for help. But if she doesn’t come clean about her past secrets, her entire world can come crashing down and there will be no one to protect her.

Good read

This was so good. I still wanted a better end for Daisy/Diana though. Feels like we could've had a part 3.

Never expected...

I never expected the ending to turn the way that it did! The narrator was on point, she makes me want to check out other books she's narrated! all in all a very good series, I can't wait to start the next one!

The narrator is horrible

I cant tell if the books were good. The audible2 reader was horrible. I should not be able to hear your cotton mouth or saliva. Add that to her tripping over words and fumbling over words, it was horrible. I struggled through 1 and 2. The book became an obligation. Just see how it ends smh

Horrible Narrator

This would have been so much better with Nicole Small, Soozie Cheyenne or Cary Hite as the narrator. This narrator had Daisy sounding like an Italian woman rather than a black girl from Philly. The story was great!

horrible reader

Horrible reader, so many mispronounced words. The story wasn't as bad as the reading but the reader made it worse,

ghetto and coonish. plays into stereotypes and ignorance. characters are flat and unimaginative at best.
