Fast Paced PI Short Stories

This is a collection of short stories featuring Alexander Steele- a night club owner who solves cases on the side. The stories are interesting- although it's hard to figure out who-done-it because Steele seems to have a lot more background knowledge than the readers. There isn't a huge amount of character development- but that's to be expected in a short story. I did like that these were quick stories- so you could listen to a whole story in an hour or two.
My biggest complaint about this audiobook isn't the book itself- but the recording. The narrator doesn't have a wide range of voices- and the recording quality itself seems pretty low. I listened to it on headphones so I was able to understand it- but I think listening in a car might be difficult. All in all- it's an interesting collection of stories- but the narration could use a little improvement.

Narration was not the best

I had a tough time getting through this book due to the poor narration sound. As for the story itself, I just didn't enjoy it. I actually got bored. I wish both author and narrator the best with other tries and experience.
