Publisher's summary

A frisson of energy bleated through Milla‘s chest. They were in a foreign world, where much was the same as Earth. But this. This single heartbeat in the night. This was very different.

Milla Keto: Uncommonly beautiful, curvy, and naturally confident. She would stop at nothing to protect those she cared for. Her mission was not to find love or a true mate. Her sole quest was to find Ruby's brother who had disappeared through the waterfall.

John Alec: The warrior or the poet. Milla didn't care for either. But she needed him. His battle was for the lives of shifters, stolen from their own world, and now enslaved in this new land.

But there was something about this warrior that stirred something deep within her. An intensity and a desire that she both liked and feared at the same time.

Completely disarmed by Alec's honesty, could Milla allow her desires to manifest, and what would this mean for the mission to save Griff?

This is the second book in the Shifter Fever series, but can also be listened to as a standalone. No cliffhangers. The story contains strong sexual themes/language and is not intended for listeners under the age of 18.

I love this Series!

This is the second book in the Shifter Fever Series. This is an interconnected Series, with characters intertwined. Milla and Alec's story is suspenseful, fast-paced and intriguing. Alec is caring and protective. The world building is interesting. Craig A. Hart did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it.

Wild ride

Fun, exciting, and humorous. Looking forward to more in this world. Characters were interesting. Steamy times, along with a rescue mission in another world. This kind of had a bit of everything.

Exciting and engaging.

This is the first book from this series I've checked out. I loved it and look forward to the rest of them. Another dimension with a mirrored world where things are very different and shifters are slaves. Milla Keto, her brother Ansel, and his mate Ruby are on a mission to find Ruby's brother, Griff, who disappeared a year ago in a waterfall. They come across a warrior in the fight to save shifters, John Alec, and he agrees to help them get to the city where Griff is being held. John is very different from the men Milla knows and they become close. They both know it's a temporary thing, but continue on anyway. It is a different type of romance since neither one of them is soft and cuddly. One of my favorite parts is when John Alec meets a guy Milla had just been on a date with and John is holding the door while he leaves and John tells him he has to go because they're gonna take a shower now and just shuts the door. In his world that isn't rude, it's just what is. John is really kinda funny learning about modern clothes, apartment housing, and indoor plumbing. He's convinced a shower is a torture device. I am really looking forward to the next one.

Original and Entertaining!!

There is a parallel world to Earth. Here, shifters are drawn by magic and put into slavery. When our characters travel to this world it is an entertaining story of struggle and romance. Loving this series!
