good book

It's so sad that more people aren't aware of this, and that there are those who choose to bash it. It has absolutely changed my life, and I would hope that people would be more open minded about options that can save both families and lives.......

informative guide

Alcohol is the easy way out for the people who are depressed, stressed and heartaches because for a moment we can forget every problem we have and feel stress-free. Addictive behavior is a response to his/her problem. The addict blames his/her addictive behavior to his spouse. Self-pitying about the way he considered himself to treated to justify his addiction. Alcoholic behavior may cause you to put yourself in dangerous situations or lead to legal problems. Drinking alcohol may cause a problem at home, work or school. Too much alcohol is dangerous, this book is very worthful

step by step solution

These two problems are very, very real. Sometimes we choose to ignore the symptoms not knowing how bad it leads to. The information provided by the great author in this book drive the point straight to the issue, giving practical solutions on alcoholism and addiction. We have experienced this in the family, leaving me a sense of hopelessness. It is good that my friend let me read this book. I have been fully enlightened about the issues. Now it is time to work on the solutions

This is a great book with sound advice

Interestingly, I'm not a drinker, but I gravitated to this book immediately when I saw the title, because I happen to love an alcoholic, and I want so badly to understand her addiction.

This book offered me insight into both the physical and psychological and social problems surrounding the problems that occur when people drink too much and find themselves wanting to stop.

This book allowed me to step into the mind and body of a drinker for a short time and have the compassion needed to understand the difficulty in stopping a habit like drinking, which can include pressure from friends, pressure from society, and a feeling of not being "normal" if one chooses NOT to drink! As a non-drinker myself, I have experienced these feelings my whole life, but have simply chosen to tell people that I don't like the taste, and I am relaxed and uninhibited enough naturally enough not to see the need for alcohol in the first place. Generally they leave me alone, and I have lots of fun at parties, plus I know I can drive safely home. I was offered a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book offers great advice for people wanting to back off and take a break from drinking when they feel like the drinking is taking over a little too much in their lives. Whether you're looking to take off just a few months and cleanse your body or quit for the rest of your life, I highly recommend this book. It's a quick, easy read, and you will enjoy the soothing yet authoritative voice of narrator Harry Roger Williams III.
