cleared up alot

much insight into freemanry; understand it more and made my own conclusions on what they represent; alot of philosophical information that shown me things I didn't expect but brought everything full circle to me. Would read it again.

I feel like I was called to read this.

I’m not a Mason, yet, but I feel like I’m just the kind of person who ought to be in Albert Pike’s reckoning, for the most part….
Very happy to have read this, as it brought together many niche lines of thought, and led me to hope further that there are people who know a bit more of what’s going on.

Mostly asinine commentary...

The commentary is laughable at times! They will often refute or dismiss what Pike wrote with little to no explanation and offer meaningless opinions that would be better omitted imo...

Otherwise, great book! It starts out slow and doesn't really get into the esoteric/occult gravy until the 17th degree. Enjoy!

Masonic Study

For me, this audio edition of Morals and Dogma has been essential to successfully completing the Master Craftsman educational course of the Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction. The information and explanations provided in the annotated footnotes helped with my understanding of some the more challenging chapters. Also, being able to bookmark and make notes along the way is a huge plus. With over 46 hours of content, this audiobook has been my constant companion during my 1-1/2 hour commute to work.

While Albert Pike’s assumptions, interpretations, and biases have rendered an imperfect compendium of esoteric spiritual and political thought, it remains a must-read for any Mason seeking to fully understand the intellectual tradition of our Craft. Adam Hanin’s narration is nuanced, approachable, and warm.

The definitive work of the Scottish Rite!

There are many versions of this book out there but THIS is THE one that every Freemason should own. The performance is excellent and the annotations add an element of context to the work that make it more accessible and understandable. This is a must have.

A worthy endeavor.

The most information I have heard on the Craft yet. I was told we all should read this text and now I know why. Morals and Dogma is a must for every serious Masonic scholar. The length of the book is necessary and a fit initiation into Masonic study. The annotation are great and helpful to understand Pike:s prose structure.

Just Another Ramble

I've dug into many of these occults or esoteric groups. It's interesting to say the least. There's a lot of good material to apply to help anyone searching, but like all spiritual studies... they either never have the answer your chomping for or hide the ultimate truths.

People don't need illusive storylines filled with lofty ideas filled with symbolic imagery. People need straight truths to apply. It almost always starts with you, unless you're so far under that you need help to the start line again, which is ok.

I will say as a last note. If you're really on a journey to find certain realms of magik, magick, power, control, or God and Satan to experience... well you won't find it in an Audible. The real stuff is out there but you have to pursue it. Be careful.
