Val Kolton is the founder and creator of V-Moda headphones.They are one of the first brands to make headphones fashionable, long before Beats, with some models costing over $40,000 for platinum 3d printed versions. They are the favorites of DJs like Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers, Avicii (RIP), Hardwell, and myself. We talk about the early beginnings of the company, the thought process behind the design, and where music technology is headed next. V-Moda was later sold to Roland, and now Val is starting new ventures that will use his strengths in design and fashion to pioneer new product designs.
