Invi you did it again. I love your books. I can't put them down. You are amazing. I love the passion and emotion you put in this book. I was tearing up while reading this book.

The toxic romance

the story was good and had a happy ending. I wish Damian had a few more chapters about himself while listening to the book.

Wow

I went into this blind without knowing much and i devoured it within a day! This is a really dark wolf shifter fantasy so definitely check your trigger warnings. This was a first for me by this author and also the first time listening to the narrator and I can’t wait to find more.

6 hours left and I’m rolling my eyes

Legit one of the worst books I’ve listened to in a long time. And I go through a lot. The FMC is absolutely insufferable and dramatic; and constantly contradicts herself within minutes. She doesn’t care, but then in the next breath she suddenly cares. The miscommunication trope is so overplayed in this book it’s not even funny- legit 90% of the issues would be solved just having an adult discussion. The MMC isn’t much better. He suddenly changes his mind for apparently no reason? He’s been nothing but childish and rude so far. What made him change? The world building is super vague- you’re telling me that there’s villages and taverns, yet a menstrual cup is casually tossed in conversation. Where is this supposed to be taking place? I’m seriously about to DNF it unless it takes a 180. I will update the review if I finish it but so far don’t waste your money.

Update- yup. Hated it. If you like immature MCs who can’t decide on what they want and unnecessary torture this is for you. For the record I do like dark romance, but this just wasn’t it. Only giving 4 stars for the narrator since she did a decent job.
