Story
In 1883, Napoleon Hill was born into poverty. In 1910, while working as a reporter, he was assigned to interview billionaire industrialist Andrew Carnegie. During this interview, Carnegie gave hints about the "secret" he had used to attain wealth. Carnegie believed the process of success was a simple formula which could be duplicated by the average person. Impressed with Hill, Carnegie commissioned him (without pay and only offering to provide him with letters of reference) to interview over 500 successful men and women, many of them millionaires, in order to discover and publish this formula for success.

Publisher's Summary
Vocational discernment, says R. Paul Stevens, is a lifelong process - one that takes on even more significance in later life. In this audiobook, Stevens argues that our calling does not end with formal retirement; to the contrary, we do well to keep on working, if possible, till life’s end.
Stevens delves into matters of calling, spirituality, and legacy in retirement, showing that we must continue to discern our vocation as we grow older in order to remain meaningfully engaged for the rest of our lives. He reframes retirement as a time of continued calling and productivity and points to biblical wisdom that can help us redefine aging as an extraordinarily fruitful season of life.

Outstanding narration of a thought provoking book!
This book's narrator got me interested immediately, with the clarity of a professional reader but the engagement of a storyteller. This engagement was sustained by the depth and quality of the writing. The book is very well referenced and thought provoking. It is deeply Biblically based, and ecumenical enough to speak to all. Highly recommended!
