Great content, weird narration.

This is a fantastic guide to agile whether you're new to the tech industry, or an old pro looking to learn new project management styles. If scrum or kanban is being introduced in your office for the first time and you need to get quickly up to speed, pick this up.

That said, the narration is odd to the point that it takes you out of the book sometimes. Weird pauses and sentences that seem to terminate, only to continue a moment later because the narrator seemed to place the period in the wrong place. Bizarre choices of words to emphasize that few rational native English speakers would make. The worst part is about two thirds into the audiobook, when our narrator... sneezes? Coughs? It's a loud, strange, audible bodily function between two sentences that the editors left in for some reason! I had to rewind to make sure my car's audio wasn't playing tricks on me. It was definitely there. Without a doubt, the strangest thing I've ever experienced listening to an audiobook.

My advice: if you have the time to read this, pick up a paper copy and use that instead. Skip the lazy and careless narration, because the lessons here are important and useful.

Top book for the beginners.

A guide for beginners such as this; with some basic information and principles about the subject, is the kind of guide you want to start with when you are looking at a subject this broad.

Good Summary.

This is a good quick summary/overview of agile and scrum. Three hours in the narrator takes a huge breath or sneezes into the mic.

Misunderstanding of Scrum

I picked up this audio book to learn a little more about other Agile approaches. I'm already very familiar with Scrum but after listening to the author mangle the Scrum framework in chapter 4, I couldn't trust the rest of the author's experience.
