Its 007 meets the future.

A fun frolic of Spy and Sci-Fi with a entertaining plot and a
good narrator.

Characters could use more depth but the story is enough fun that you really do not care.

Loved it

I really did love this book! The story was intriguing and you can tell it translated to audible well. The performance was decent, my only complaint was that I would have liked the different voices to have been done a little better. They sometimes blurred and it was hard to tell which character was talking. Other than that it was well read and this is a book i would buy

Doesn’t matter if it’s horror or humor Jake Bible is always a fun read. Loved this book, a fun sci-fi I flew through this. Andrew Wehrlen is a fantastic narrator. I’ll buy books just because he narrated it.

The world of Roak from a different view

Bible has created a galaxy to rival Star Wars. It’s grittier and darker and a helluva lot of fun to travel through. The books are standalone but when you read/listen to them all you get a bigger picture that is well worth the time and credits invested in it. This particular tale is that of a galactic intelligence operative that is at the top of his game, however little does he know that he has been setup and that he is in for the fight of his life. Intrigue, aliens, battles and more await. Use this as an intro to this amazing galaxy or if you’ve been here before than enjoy there shared characters and worlds and their new adventures. Agent Prime

The book took a while before it started to pick up. There are some interesting parts and the author knows how to build worlds. Others might like it more then I did.

Andrew seems to be sure to pronounce everything properly. There are moments where speech slows to get all enunciated properly. Though, usually when a character is talking, the flow of the words is constant. I give him credit, there are a lot of words and names that could easily be pronounced wrong. I don't think I could do as well as he did. Andrew did give a physical feel to each character as he spoke for them.

The beginning is full of hints to the world and Denman Sno and his job. But it feels heavy with creation. There is a lot with being science fiction/space setting. There are many different beings and planets along with technology to pick up on. Jake dives right into the meat of it. There is a lot to create as this is a stand alone, so far.

The beginning feels agency/military strategically strong as Sno details out what he sees and does. I wonder if Andrew's voice compliments this feeling as it's how Sno sees things in his mind. He is an Agent after all, he gets paid to see things in this perspective.

One thing I'm learning about Jake Bible. He can write many different styles. Wow. But, I'm learning that with Jake, I'm invested or just along for the ride. For me in Agent Prime, I was along for the ride. I struggled with some of the connections as it seemed to appear as he went. The details were minor and hidden in text that you can connect them to what we know, but it felt like it could have been stronger for me.

I did love the ship that was used to travel, and was to be incognito for Sno and Pol. It was a luxury liner that's known for the passengers to find love. This was a fun twist to the story. Though, this is where majority of the story takes place. It might be a love ship, but Sno has to deal with being attacked in a whole different fashion.

I did come to like that the plot is thicker than expected the further into the book we went. There is more to Pol and others. There is a reason for what all transpires on the luxury ship. I liked the overall idea of the story with Pol.

I think some will enjoy this story while others will thinks it's good. It's hard to pick who would be who though. Take a look at the book and see if it's something you might like.

Hopefully the first of many Galactic Fleet romps!

Agent Prime introduces us to Denman Sno (Agent Prime) a member of the Galactic Fleet's Special Services Division as he embarks on a mission to deliver Pol Hammon to Fleet Headquarters.

Having listened to Jake Bible's Roak adventures, the settings and races of the galaxy provide a familiar backdrop. The story-line follows Bible's familiar formula of action, pace, twists and turns.

Whilst this story provides us with the fast paced action we have come to expect, Denman Sno offers us a character with flaws. He isn't gung ho, like Roak, he makes mistakes and he misjudges people. After all, he is human.

If I am completely honest, the ending left me unfulfilled. I realise Bible is probably leaving the door open for a sequel, but I was hoping for a more conclusive end.

Nevertheless, the collaboration of Jake Bible and Andrew Wehrlen is another winner and well worth the listen.

My thanks to the author/narrator for providing me a copy of this book, free of charge, in return for an unbiased review.

Good story, well worth the listen

"I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review."
I really enjoyed the start of this series. I listened to another of Jake Bible's series and enjoyed that one too. Bible creates excellent characters and builds a good story around them. There's plenty of action to keep you interested. I also liked the narrator, Andrew Wehrien, he dose an excellent job in telling the story without being a distraction. I'll keep listening to the series.

What an amazing story!

I absolutely adored this book it has so many elements that come together to make for an amazing story.
It has science fiction elements as well as adventure, thriller, crime and the story keeps turning corners and blindsiding you with its new direction.

Just when you think you have a handle on all of the characters at play something happens and a plot twist will shine a whole new light on a character giving you pause for thought and a new perspective.

The narration is superb with each character sounding unique and the emotion that goes into them gives a truly immersive feeling that few narrators manage to capture.

I would recommend this book to anybody and everybody. I think that most people could find enjoyment from it and if you lean towards science fiction but like a good action based story this could be the one for you.

The names Sno, Denman Sno

Apparently this is another book in a much larger universe from this author, but as somebody approaching it fresh, this book did not have too much baggage of that shared universe to prevent it from being an enjoyable book.

Denman Sno is Agent Prime, the top agent for the Fleet Intelligence Service's Special Service Division and after one mission has gone awry, he is sent home on leave, but this was merely a ruse for his next secret and vitally important mission, which is to help Pol Hammon get to Galactic Headquarters.

What follows is an entertaining series of incidents involving Denman, Pol and a varied supporting cast of characters that together from a novel with quite a cinematic feel to it.

The narrator of this book further helps to enhance the overall story with a strong performance for all the main cast and others.

Overall, I enjoyed this scifi spy thriller of a book and am more interested in this Galactic Fleet universe as a whole because of it.

Nice Adventure in the Galactic Universe

A secret agent with more style than Roak but with a few similarities, born of money but living for the adventure he is Denman Sno their best Agent aka Agent Prime. This story kicks off not too long after the Roak Razor adventure with Pol Hammon the slippery tech hacker and their is enough action with a bit of 007 woman action to bring a smile to your face and a few impoasible situations. This has the Roak feel that i like so much but feels more 007 in space with the calm and collected wit. A good listen with ABW putting in a solid sterling performance.
This was a audible i asked for at no cost to myself and i have left my own opinion of this

Should have, could have, would have, but ...

The perfect partnership of author and narrator makes this a must read book for fans of S.F., thrillers, and humour.
Written in Jake Bible's destinctive quick fire style, filled with believably eccentric characters and the throwaway comments and conversations whist still providing vivid visual violent episodes in remarkable situations, Agent Prime is also both funny or humerous throughout.
Agent Prime finds himself outwitted at almost every turn as his missions go awry and he finds himself on a bounty list as well. Fast paced and furious, funny and very enjoyable, the whole is further enhanced by Andrew Warhlen's performance whose brisk delivery matches that of the text. The characters are individually and appropriately voiced, his reading well intoned and a pleasure to hear.

A fast book, a fun book, exciting and colourful. I hope Mr.Bible will give us more Prime in the future. A big thank you to the rights holder who freely gifted me a complimentary copy of this book, at my request, via Audiobook Boom. I loved it.
