The Echoes Saga continues.

The scales have tipped. The battle for Namdhor, the north, and the entire realm of man was a sure victory for the orcs. But they lost.

Now, under the rule of a would-be-king, the armies of man fuel the war when they should be bolstering their defenses. Only a few understand that time is against them, yet these few must fight alone if the dawn is to rise over Illian once more.

The heroes of the realm have banded together, but they cannot fight side by side. There is only one way they can win, seen by the oldest dragon and preserved inside the broken mind of a ranger.

From the shadows, the Crow muddies the waters, making it all the harder to see the path to victory. In the depths of the Bastion, where even time is his slave, the ancient necromancer has finished his work. The king is almost ready....

Age of the King continues this unmissable epic fantasy series.

This Crow fella... I dont think ive ever heard of a more psychotic character. Absolutely insane. His as well as our known charcters roles is just as mind blowing.

chapter 25

The book was great but gittian by God man chapter 25. I probably would take the title from him. But this is the only issue for me about this book. The book is really good tho. like the last book Gittian shouldn't be the leader at all .

Excellent continuation of the saga

This one is my favorite of the second part of the story. This one got me in all the right places. I look forward to reading more from Mr. Quaintrell, as I can say he is my favorite author of all time.

Best in a long time

Ive been reading fantasy literature for 35+ years. This entire series is a masterpiece. The plot is multilayered and complex but never loses the weight of the relationships or key moments. The diversity of the characters drives the story and the development of those characters makes them feel like old friends by book six. Faced paced, well written - this is roller coaster read of action and fund. Everything epic fantasy should be.
Well done Philip.

Excellent!

Very enjoyable story, wrapping up the plotline developed in Book 5 quite nicely. Love the return of Asha and glad that the friends survived the journey. Looking forward to Book 7!

Giddian ruins the story

A lot of this story focuses in giddian. However everyone acts like he is a hero even after he makes stupid decisions over and over. He is just not a leader. He is mentally weak and without his sword he is physically weak.

This is proved at the end when a new age is starting and he decides to not help shape it for good but abandoned everyone by taking dragorn away for training. What a pussy. He needs to die for next book.

Love the series but hate the Dragorn

I'll start by saying that I do really enjoy this series. most of the characters are well written and enjoyable. However, I cannot express how much I absolutely loathe the Dragorn! There's 3 main Dragorn characters and all 3 are, by far, the most arrogant characters in the book. Inara and Gideon are the worst offenders. They make so many decisions based off their belief that they are superior to everyone. Also, Gideon may be the most coddled character in the story. For every dumb and illogical decision he makes there's someone, usually Inara, telling him it's not really his fault. I enjoy the series but roll my eyes anytime these characters are given their respective chapters.
