Good but room for improvement.

Good story very well read. Action sequences need work especially battles. Her body guards, the best of the best need a lesson from Jack Reacher as they a pretty rubbish. And she gets beaten up way to much.
Still the ground work is there for a good sequence of books. Not sure enough work on the matriarchal society has been done. It just seems it's a swap of roles rather than a thought out view on a future society run solely by women. Surly a society not based on equality of all types is a backward development and could be looked at more.

Any weakness in the story is made up for by the reader who is vey good.

batch slapped will awesomeness

...like hon solo, this protagonist is prone to shoot first and ask questions later. but unlike hon solo, she is sharp. .. and she has green hair. these books are sooooooo awesome. . my favourite part is where she compares the weight of a child with that of her gun... oh and the technology... the smartie is the most original and plausible future Sci Fi tech I've read about in a long time.

as for the narrator... it too some time to get used to her accent... but after an hour I was used to it.
