With intimations of past decadence and menace, an abandoned island nearby arouses tense fascination over the group. As "games" veer toward violence, secrets surface in startling twists and turns. Haunting!

Haunting and intense. Well written. Loved the narrator and his voice. So atmospheric! A story to be listened to/read more than once. There is quite a lot going on here.
