Surprise every moment

I truly enjoyed listening to this story. How Allison Paige put just enough detail in each scene to create the environment but not overwhelm was beautifully managed; and, unknowingly something I had craved.

Looking forward to the second and have it already on the shelf!

I absolutely loved and enjoyed this story

I enjoyed Leah perspective of the story but I would of loved to have Raum side of the story to know his thoughts and reasonings to why his doing what he does because I’m in between loving him and hating him. If you like demons and Gods retelling then this book is for you just make sure you check your triggers. I rated this book 5 stars because I really enjoyed this story it had me guessing and scared at times for Leah, but she’s a very strong female character. The spice is 3.5 out of 5 which is not bad in my opinion, I really enjoy the sexy moments which had me really liking Raum because his so sweet and caring and he just acts so different as if he really cares or maybe loves her. The narrator did an awesome job reading this story, her voice just gave me all the feelings I needed to feel through out the book, which is everything I want when listening to a book. This book does end in a cliff hanger but it’s well worth listening to, I was left wanting more so I honestly can’t wait for the second book especially because we are given a short sneak peek at the end for the second book.

Wonderfully done!!!

I loved this story. It gives the feeling of fear and hope, disgust and desire. Gives a call for action that makes me want to go plant flowers and set up some hives. The apocalypse may not be what we always thought it would be. It was great to see a strong FMC and I enjoyed the fact that she did deal with realistic doubts and fears. The MMC is one that invokes both love and hate. I am really interested in what will take place if be does ever complete his journey.
I would have loved to see this as a dual POV.
The narration was wonderful. The range between female and male voices was astounding. Blanca was able to convey the proper emotion into the thought and voices of each character as the story progressed. I would definitely listen to more narrations completed by her.

Really, Really Enjoyed This

So, I normally don't get so caught up in an audible that I lose track of time, but I did with this one. I was able to finish it in about two sittings because I was so enthralled in the story. Blanca is amazing, and the story is intriguing and keeps you wanting to go on. It did me. I can't wait to get into the second one.
