    Dec 1 2020
    Hello my survivor friends.

Welcome to a quick introduction to the After the Apocalypse podcast story.

I am putting this first in the feed to save you time and trouble.

I am the producer of the story, and you can call me ‘Maddog’.

What you will find here is an audio drama about the survivors of an apocalypse. It is professionally produced and narrated. The story is presented in seasons of 20 episodes each. As of this writing we are in the 3rd season. We plan to have 5 seasons in the story arc.

Each episode is 15 – 20 minutes of the story followed by 5-10 minutes of commentary.

By default the shows have commercials inserted by the hosting provider, Acast.

If you want to avoid these commercials there is now an Ad-Free option you can subscribe to at https://plus.acast.com/s/after-the-apocalypse

If after a few episodes you dig the show and want to find any of the extras, like the subscription, the facebook group, etc, I have put all those links here in the notes of this message.

All you have to do is click “show notes” or whatever the equivalent is in your podcast listening ap of choice and you’ll see all the links.

Well written and narrated.

'Now on episode three, The "old man" has a life reminiscent of Robert Duvalls character in Cormac McCarthy's "The Road". Well fleshed out and narrated at a proper cadence. An interesting view point of the usual supporting cast of characters. It also brings to mind a comparison to William W. Johnstone's Preacher series. This has the makings to be weighed amongst these iconic productions.

I love this podcast. I stumbled upon it and one day and assumed it would be like others. That I would start it and hate it. I am happy to say I was wrong! Keep up the amazing work!!

Excellent beginning.

I’ve listened to many post apocalypse audiobooks and this one is really intriguing. From the very beginning, I’m rooting for the “good guys.” So far the characters are not making silly mistakes (like in so many other pa books) that can risk their lives. Note to writer-Chris do not let the dog die.

Surprisingly Good!

I just found this podcast and honestly had low expectations, but it’s great! The characters are likable and as another reviewer stated, they make sound decisions; which, makes you root for them even more. Keep up the good work!

My first podcast. Thank you 😊

This is my favorite genre so I am predisposed to be both giddy and hyper-critical of new discoveries. Having said that, I now love podcasts. The limited play time sets us up for some great cliffhangers in a really fun story.

The tempo of character development and introduction is wonderfully organic and the world as he unfolds it for us is definitely one of the best characters here.

As for the narration, I love it. I've listened to about 300 audiobooks and a unique voice is one on the things that I adore about the platform.
