Sci-Fi tale

This is a short story that (in my opinion) is incorrectly named. It isn't a bad tale, but it doesn't have anything to do with Area 51 or the infamous storming of that government facility. Instead, it is a tale of a group of bandits traveling through space, looting any vessels they find. The main character seems to have been shanghaied while under the influence and is now the new engineer of this ship. Also, it is called a mini-anthology, but the audiobook that I listened to only had one story. It wasn't a bad story, just nothing that unique and not what I expected.

The narrator did a good job and kept my interest. I received this audiobook through Story Origins and chose to review it.

a wild ride through space and time

great listening while plugging away at code, Mr Scott's voice was soothing, but kept me ever so attentive to both my work and the stories. his enthusiasm and character voice really adds to the situations. nice work!

Short, not overwheling, great for short road trip

Listened to this on a car ride...was great as a lover of scifi but who can't afford the time to get super involved in an overwhelming heavy, detailed, storyline. Speculates for a few different hypothetical ways that the raid area 51 facebook event could have actually been incorporated into a more-involved story and coverup. The narrator have a very clear voice, and varied his voice well to express different characters. Would recommend for a family road trip!

Retro science fiction

Very much enjoyed the book, it reminded me of the 1950s science fiction. Fun to read with lots of twists of the old days. Not to be taken seriously.

Enjoyed this short story

Well worth a listen.

The narrator gives each character their own voice and read the story well.

I was given the story I was given the story for an unbiased review. In exchange in exchange for an unbiased review.
