A great trilogy to pick up

The trilogy is a great addition to anyone's library. Narration had been a little bland, but was still amazing.

Great Narration but...

The Narrator was top notch but the story itself unbelievably slow and boring. Very little going on and when it did is was very slow and boring. the relationships seem so flat and placid that even the main character didn't know he was in a relationship and cheated(instantly became a dirtbag and lost any interest) 90% of the book is like a boring slice of life novel..

I really like the pacing.

A great performance with well paced story. Iv come to appreciate a story where there are real losses and the mc isn't always just super lucky. plus paying a price for your gifts is a great way of needing the op skills.

As fun as it gets

The three books in this series follows the travails of Daniel, ex-miner starting a new life as a beginning adventurer. He begins moving to a small town which has appropriately a beginner dungeon. He also has a unique healing gift, which allows him to appropriately enough heal but at the cost of his memories and experiences. This allows him to stand out from the rest, but also not over powering them so much that anything is easy. And nothing really seems to be easy.

Along the way he will make friends and comrades, and experience more than his share of danger and fun. This is totally worthwhile. If you enjoy gamelit, or l you just used to love D&D, this book is absolutely the first thing you should read

Definition of meh

I just got on the 2nd book. Very little world building, Boring MC and side characters. They are not very memorable. The ability would be good if not for the nasty side effects and it quickly becomes a detriment and stays that way for the whole book. The main characters moral high ground is one of the most frustrating things in the book. Not a good book, not a bad one but I’ve read more fanfiction that has captured my attention better then this book.

This is adventure

I listen to a lot of lit RPG books. This is one of the best. Challenges And frustration galore. Never thought of being an adventure as being a job. This teaches you how it can be.

Great series!

Good story and narration!

The MC is a fighter / healer hybrid who has to give up memories and experience in order to heal. the series follows the adventures of him and his party as they level up and explore new experiences.

Eric does a good job with the narration.

I love the series!

It could have been better

Several incorrect details in that story really annoy me. The author can't seem to keep up with things that he has happen in the story. Plus the ending was pretty lame. Not the worst story I have listened to. Buy I wish the author would have at least kept the count of the levels correct.
